Review: I have used Hawking products in the past since the quality and price points are ideal for small offices or home offices. The newer Access Points are small and well-designed. The documentation is very helpful in setting up a wireless infrastructure in minutes. The built-in web-based set-up is fast, simple and easy to use. The supplied software can also be used to communicate and set-up the hardware. It does work with several types of 802.11b cards, including pc cards, card bus, USB and compact flash, as well as cards from other 802.11b-compliant vendors.
The web-based set-up menu allows the unit to be customized as needed for network compatibility and security. Additional software is included to assist in set-up and detection.
