Summary: A Real Bummer
Review: Bought this because of reviews. Could not get it to install. CD ROM no help. No 800 number for tech support (I don't pay for installation support). Sent unit back.

Summary: rare item...hardware-based USB modem
Review: I bought one for my peer, I found it's HARDWARE-BASED (since it's mac-compatible too), he's using WinME, just plugin, and working right out of box, no install driver, no anything, and no performance loss too, and no power required (draw power from USB) get one when supplies last, but aware of SupraMax, it's soft modem!

Summary: Wow!
Review: I just got the version of this modem that uses a serial cable connection. It is fast! The "shotgun" technology allows for much faster connections than my standard 56K modem ever did. It's pretty neat. I would reccomend this modem to everyone.

Summary: Finally, one that works!
Review: I've been searching for a month now for a gaming USB modem that actually does it's job and I found it with SupraExpress. I tried different modems but they all gave such high pings in quake2, this one gives me 150! Downloads never go below 4.0 and websites load up instantly. This modem is definitely the best 56k I used in my 5 years with computers.

Summary: GREAT USB-MODEM!
Review: I've been using this modem for the last 3 months, and I thinkits great! Though there is one minor annoyance that I found... ittends to make alot of noise if you don't turn your call waiting off, and somebody tries to call you. There's no way to reset it either without going offline. Other then that its a great deal, which will upgrade your overall download speed. END

Summary: This modem is fast!!!
Review: My brother has this modem and boy is it fast. It is so fast that it feels like it is a T1 connection or faster. This is the best external modem on the market.

Summary: Need a modem? Look no further!
Review: Oh, my goodness!!

On a Windows 98 (or newer) PC, I can tell you that set up was a snap. My machine knew it was there and installed the drivers without a hiccup.

But the Speed is what's amazing. I had a v.90 compliant 56k internal modem and I was lucky if it would connect at 28k bps. This new external USB modem NEVER connects slower than 40!!

Oh, and for us old-school computer users, NOTHING beats real blinkenlights! Just watch the flickering send and receive lights while the info comes rolling in.

Easy of install: 5 stars
Windows Compatibility: 5 stars
Product performance: 5 stars

Summary: Nice modem...
Review: This is an excellant modem for any user. Works great on my laptop so I can take my work with me and connect to update. Only problem I have is that I will be installing Win2k on it and they haven't finished drivers for it. I e-mailed them and they say they are in final stages. Would recommend this to anyone...
