Rating: Summary: BAD QUALITY AND SERVICE Review: I bought this modem over a month ago...it doesn't work, a completely dead modem. Once their technical department was convinced that it wasn't due to my error, they agreed to take it back. They RELUCTANTLY agreed to mail me a pre-postage package for return, but it has never arrived. This is a bad product, as well as bad customer service, plain and simple. Trust me, avoid it if you're not wanting to be out a modem, as well as the money.

Rating: Summary: Works wonderfully Review: I got this modem (HM92P) about 10 days ago. I use it in my new Dell desktop. It has been been working great -- I am still waiting for the moment when I connect at less than 50 Kbps. It connects fast and holds the connection at this speed for _hours_. I have another modem by Hawking (a PCMCIA model) in my laptop. It has been great too. People at Hawking apparently know how to make a good modem -- which, after all, should not be _that_ difficult these days. I would recommend this modem to anyone. It is inexpensive and it works exactly as advertised.
