Summary: Good for the money
Review: First off its not the same mouse in the picture shown. The coloring is totally different and its not shaped like the picture either. It has a very basic shape and is not curved for better grip and comfort. All that aside its still a decent mouse. Compared to any other optical mouse its [a good price].

Summary: Click the wheel
Review: Fun red-glowing led optical mouse. Press down on the scroll wheel and an icon appears allowing mouse motion to scroll. This is kind of a neat feature that wasn't readily apparent.

Summary: Micro Innovations Products are certainly guaranteed to last!
Review: I bought my first Micro Innovations products 4 years ago,it was a Micro Comfort mouse ,even though it cost me $5.95 it lasted me 2 and a half years. After that I went out and bought an IBM Optical Navigator mouse from Office Max,After a year and a half it is still working as well as it did when i first bought it.
If you want products that last along time, and that are easy to install Micro Innovations products are right for you!,and if you find yourself having technical difficulties, there Customer Service is superb!!.

Summary: Disappointed
Review: I had intended to use this mouse on an old notebook with a Pentium 1 processor, running Windows 98. Needless to say, the mouse wasn't plug & play on that computer. Without loading the (supplied) driver, the mouse was very erratic and not useable. Unfortunately, the computer's A drive could not read the provided floppy diskette. To be sure that nothing had gone wrong with my A drive, I tried several other floppy diskettes and they all worked fine.

I then decided to move the mouse attached to my desktop (Pentium 4) to the old notebook and install this new mouse on my desktop. Unfortunately, my desktop is laid out so that the new mouse cable was not long enough to reach the PS2 port. The mouse cable is only 4'7" long!

NOTE: My old notebook now has a Microsoft Wheel Mouse (Optical USB/PS2 Compatible) installed. It also works fine with a Logitech Optical Mouse. It recognizes both as plug & play.

Summary: It is everything that you want, for alot less.
Review: I have two ms optical's and the micro innovations mouse. I use the Micro Innovations mouse for gaming... that is the best review i could write. When it is on the line, i like the grip on this mouse the best.

Summary: Does not work properly with some applications...
Review: I purchased and installed this product for a client of mine. I'm a computer consultant/technician. The installation was very easy. Sadly, the scroll wheel feature does not function properly in Microsoft Access from Office 97.

My client has a database with 768 entries. No matter where you are in this database, if you scroll up you go non-stop to record number one. If you scroll down you go non-stop to record number last. I have not found any way to stop this process.

Curiously, when you use the scroll wheel in other applications, it works pretty much as one would expect it to. I've found a few cases where it doesn't do anything, however.

Compared to any of the Logitech or Microsoft mice I've installed and/or used, I believe the software driver for this mouse may leave something to be desired.

I will update this review if and when the manufacturer replies to my email to their tech support department with a solution.

Summary: Heh, the blinky light.
Review: I thought it wouldn't be a problem....but always going off in the back of my head--it's driving me crazy. Luckily, the mouse has great performance, was really cheap, and didn't even need to be installed. Excellent mouse with an excellent price--you can't really go wrong.

Summary: Great value and quality
Review: I was not sure about making the purchase because it was so much less money than the other optical products on the market(you get what you pay for), but I thought what do I have to lose. I have been very pleased with it's performance and feel. For the price I am very impressed and have recommened it to my friends.

Summary: A Better mouse than MS Optical Wheelmouse
Review: I've purchased this mouse to replace my old Microsoft mouse. It feels very comfortable and the pointer movement is very precise. On a different computer, I am using the Microsoft optical WheelMouse, and thus, am able to compare the two. The Micro Innovations mouse controls the pointer with better precision. The MS WheelMouse, however, loses the pointer position on certain occasions (like once every hundred mouse movements). Also, the wheel between the two buttons works in the same way as the MS WheelMouse.
The only downside is that it does not include a USB connector, and also I was somewhat deceived by Amazon's picture:
- the mouse is WHITE, not GRAY/SILVER
- the wheel is BLUE, not BLACK
- the top of the mouse is not clean/blank; instead, it contains the "MICRO INNOVATIONS" logo.
I am using a dark gray/black keyboard and monitor, and was hoping this mouse would match the same color scheme. Nonetheless, this is only a minor issue.
The bottomline is: if you're looking for an optical PS/2 wheel mouse, Micro Innovations' Optical mouse is definitely the best buy.
