Summary: Excellent, just plain excellent
Review: This is one of the best mice I have ever used, bar none. It's very accurate, glides wonderfully, works on any surface, and has a cord long enough for just about everyone. It is a little on the light side, but for me that's just fine; it means I spend less effort getting it to go where I want it to. And while the buttons, specifically the wheel-click button, may feel like they're going to break sometimes, trust me, it takes a lot of effort to damage this thing. Of course, if you do somehow manage to break it, you can buy a second one and still be paying less than you would for many other optical mice. Besides, the red LED glow on the back end looks pretty nifty, too =)

Summary: Killer mouse for ambidexterous use and smooth scroll
Review: This is the best mouse I've owned. I tried the wireless rat and it did not meet the reliability standards with the batteries and inconsistent operability. This optical wheel mouse works beautifully with the smoothest scroll wheel going. I switch back and forth between left and right hands for ergonomic reasons. The symmetrical design facilitates this practice nicely.

Summary: Great Mouse!
Review: This mouse came with my computer, and it is a lot better then mouses with balls. I no longer have to clean it, and it no longer gets stuck ever couple days. Overall I enjoy this mouse.

Summary: Excellent mouse without tons of bells and whistles.
Review: This mouse doesn't have extras like extra buttons on the side of the mouse, but for what it does have, it is a great mouse. When upgrading from my IntelliMouse with a traditional mouse ball, I saw an immediate difference in the mouse pointer. When moving the pointer across the screen very fastly, the old mouse would show the mouse pointer every 2 inches or so. This mouse shows the pointer go across the screen pixel-by-pixel. This is sort of hard to explain but will be the first thing you will notice when upgrading from a ball mouse.

I play games with this mouse, and the responsiveness is great. Also, the wheel spins with less effort when compared to my old IntelliMouse.

Also, allbeit a small plus, the plastic skeleton isn't smooth and shiny plastic; it has a texture to it. This means the mouse (for some reason) doesn't get dirty as quick from your hand oils. Trust me on this one.

I've been using this mouse for a year now and I haven't cleaned the sensor yet and it still works perfectly. My old ball mouse I had to clean the rods on the inside every 2 weeks (gamers know that these rods can get junked up only after 5 hours of gaming).

By the way... when they say its only for USB or PS/2 connection, they mean it. I thought I could set up a series of adapters to go from USB to PS/2 to serial, but that didn't work. This is only for computers young enough to have a PS/2 port.

So... this is a great mouse. If you want extra buttons on the side for shortcuts like opening programs, goto the IntelliMouse Optical or IntelliMouse Explorer. But if you don't want a mouse loaded with buttons, this mouse is the best on the market. Period.

Summary: Good Mouse
Review: This mouse has all the basic features. It has a scroll wheel and it also can connect to a USB or a PS2. I like optical mouses because they never get stuck. Easy to install and really has no problems. A good reliable mouse for everyone.

Summary: Within 5 minutes, new it was a winner
Review: This mouse is awesome! I could tell the difference immediately. I was getting so frustrated with the mouse that came with my computer--after only 3 months, it was totally gunked up, and would skip or not work at all. This optical mouse is so smooth, it's a world of difference. Get this mouse!!

Summary: All that you could wish for in a basic mouse
Review: This mouse is great, there was a slight connector issue with the last piece i got but the replacement works great.... pointer motion is smooth and the mouse itself is well shaped for holding... there are no customisable keys but accept it, we rarely need them...
this is a great piece of hardware and anyone looking for a simple and versatile mouse for a computer should look no further... value for money completely...

Summary: Best $$ I Ever Spent on Hardware
Review: This mouse is great. Works much more smoothly, quickly, and accurately than a regular mouse. I still use my mousepad because it has a wristpad and the optical mouse is totally compatible with it. Especially for those who have friends or family members that cannot get the hang of a regular mouse, this is a godsend. No more cleaning the dust out of the trackball rollers, too!
