Summary: Thumb button
Review: Button for your thumb is in the wrong place.
Cordless Mousman had it right. Why was it changed?
Basically, the Cordless Optical thumb button is slimmer and closer to the desk than the Cordless Mouasman. I get pain from trying to bend my thumb to reach the button.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful!
Review: I just bought this a few days ago and have just fallen in love with it. Above all else, it's just plain cool. The styling is nice, it feels great (I'm left-handed, but I use my right for the mouse, so have no problems with it), and have found only two slight problems with it. 1) Sometimes, when the mouse is moving across a surface with no contrast (my mouse pad, in this case), it has a hard time reading the movement. solution: ditch the mouse pad. 2) Yes, since it is a wireless mouse, I have seen a tiny bit of lag in playing Starcraft. HOWEVER, it almost always occurs during the loading of the game/scenario, and NOT during gameplay. Also, when the computer is doing lots of processing (ie during startup, opening a gigantic Java applet), there is a bit of lag.

Otherwise, it's perfect! One last note: I have a shelf next to my comp desk that's about 2 feet higher. I put the receiver up on the shelf, and did a range test on it. It worked fine from about 18 feet away (no kidding). Now THAT'S range.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is in the market for a mouse- and even anyone who isn't. Great job Logitech! I will be purchasing their wireless keyboard within the next few days.

Summary: Best.
Review: Some say that this mouse isn't one for gaming, but I beg to differ. I am an avid gamer, and bought this mouse for my laptop (hehe, Dell Inspiron 8000...)and all I can say is it's the best, and it dosnt look half bad either.

For games it takes a few minutes toget used to, but I find it real easy once you get used to moving it. (I think the slight oddness was from the added weight and the friction change.) If this bothers users, they can simply set the mouse sensitivity up or down.

Not only that but it has a five year warentee (like you'd need it)

I would recommend to anyone, ANYONE, to buy this mouse. You won't regret it.

Summary: Optical + cordless....wow!
Review: I liked the cordless Logitech that came with my new Dell, but I have been a fan of optical since it came on the market, and upgrading to the combination of cordless + optical is Nirvana.

Summary: One fantastic USB Wireless device!!
Review: I have purchased several Logitech mice as replacements for the OEM units (I have both Macs and PC's, and plenty of both), and I have always been very happy with them.

This mouse is fantastic. The feel of it in my hand is great. The positioning of the buttons is great. The feedback (i.e., the "clickness" of them) is perfect. The wheel has a great, subtle but still responsive feel to it. The responsiveness of the cursor is great too. So hardware wise, the thing is great.

Software, it is *also* great! I just plugged it in to my Powerbook G4, and started mousing! No drivers needed, or anything like that. It was a real snap to install, and it works perfectly.

One additional note. I am a huge guy. I am 6'5" tall and I have big hands. Some of the other Logitech mice are too small for me, or shaped so that it is very uncomfortable for me to use them all day. This mouse is shaped "just right" and is a perfect fit for my hands (although the finger buttons are a little too close together for me).

Definite A+ product, and an excellent buy at twice the price. Buy one for _each_ of your computers.

Summary: It's about time
Review: For a few months, I bemoaned the fact that nobody was taking the obvious step of giving users both cordless flexibility and optical precision.

Logitech was the first to pull it all together, and they've done a really good job. The mouse is comfortable in the hand, with nice curves and reassuring heft. It feels solid in every aspect: The firm, springy response of the buttons matches nicely with the unusually--and pleasantly--resistant feel of the scrolling wheel.

I can't think of anything I'd change to improve on this mouse. The weight, the solidity, and the free movement all combine to make a mouse that just feels right.

Summary: Gaming vs Office/Home USe
Review: This mouse is great for home and office use. The fact that you don't have to clean the thing is quite refreshing, but do not buy this mouse for a gaming machine. Cordless and optical mice are terrible for gaming. If your looking for a gaming mouse I suggest one of the Razor mice, for anything else I suggest this mouse. On a final note if your worried about it sucking alot of battery power and having to replace the batteries every week fear not. The mouse goes into a type of sleep mode that saves battery power.

Summary: The Most Complete Mouse on the Market
Review: I loved my last optical mouse, but my oversized desk made the wire wrap around the back, which, in turn, left me reaching forward everytime I moved the mouse. And I didn't want to get a wireless mouse, because, as the saying goes, "Once you go optical, you can never go back." (It's true, the old mouseball pales in comparison.) So I jumped at the chance to try a wireless AND optical mouse. And there wasn't a fear factor, because it's made by Logitech - people who know how to make mice. And let me tell you - it performs beautifully. As for the other reviews: it's not made for left-handed people, so that 1 star rating is invalid. I don't game, and I don't imagine most PC users do, and I don't see a lag anyway. Bottom line: This is the perfect mouse for right-handed non-gamers.

Summary: What a Mouse!
Review: I just got my Logitech MouseMan Optical Cordless Mouse! Rushed home from work to hook it up...Setup was soooo easy! This mouse is the answer to a prayer! I have always hated fighting with the stupid wire... I had a Logitech 3-button mouse, and it was wonderful, except for the wire. I stayed up way past my bedtime last night, just playing with this thing!! I can't tell any difference in the response time, and it is so easy to move around. I was prepared to like it, but it is actually better than advertised..It feels very stable under your hand. I would highly recommend this mouse to anyone! Do yourself a favor, and buy one! At least put in on your wish list! As always, thanks to Amazon.com for the very speedy delivery! Jenny Martin
