Summary: Works Great!
Review: I have used this product for about two months now and love it. A helpful hint that I will pass on is to use a mouse pad with this product. The box advertises that you can throw your mouse pad away, but I found that the mouse works 100% better with the pad. Other than that, it was easy to install and is very accurate.

Summary: Wheel is sloppy
Review: I like this mouse, everything about it... except the wheel does not always work well, mine is brand new, and it skips scroll clicks often, so i have to keep scrolling the wheel to get it to scroll down or up. It's very annoying.

Summary: Comfortable and accurate!
Review: I purchased this mouse after first choosing a competitor's mouse. The competitor's mouse had all the ergonomic curves, but I found it uncomfortable and a distraction. This mouse is comfortable and accurate! It's not distracting and best of all, no wires!

Summary: Very Nice Item
Review: I use a Microsoft optical cordless mouse at work so originally I planned to purchase the same brand for home use. Then I read the reviews for this Logitech mouse. I'm very glad I changed my mind. Logitech makes a fine product. Smooth movements, fast response, fits my hand well. I would highly recommend this for any one wanting an optical wireless mouse.

Summary: Excellent cordless mouse for a modest price...
Review: I'm a gamer, so naturally a mouse is a very important consideration when you're in the market for a new one. I decided to go cheap this time (previously owning a Microsoft Optical corded mouse) and cordless. After using this mouse for a few months it's surpassed my expectations. Just this weekend I had a LAN party and the mouse performed superbly in games like Q3 and Unreal Tournament 2003. Response is dead-on and the mouse never once had a glitch (something I had a problem with years ago when the first cordless Logitech mice came out). It's performed admirably in every situation. I'm on my first set of batteries besides the ones included with the unit, so I can't attest to how long they last (yet). I'll update my review once I have that answer. I can't say enough good things about this mouse. It's extremely low cost and the best quality of any cordless mouse you can buy. Highly recommended. Logitech has always been on the cutting edge of mouse technology. It's no wonder they're such a successful company with products like this. My previous mice have died painful deaths. Being a gamer my mice end up suffering from double-click-itis, where the clicker wears out and double clicks when you don't want it to. I'm hoping this mouse will last longer than my Microsoft Explorer did. We'll see.

Update: Battery life appears to be about a month or so for me. The mouse icon appears on your taskbar letting you know the mouse is trying to tell you something. I use my computer long hours every day, so I suppose a month of battery life on two AA's isn't that bad considering the amount I use it. If you are a casual computer user you may find the batteries last a lot longer.

Summary: Great addition to my computer
Review: I've always liked the idea of a cordless mouse, but the one my parents used made me nervous about buying one. But this mouse has worked wonderfully. No cord adds a level of convenience that I've never had before. Other cordless mouse I've used went through batteries in a matter of days, but not this one. The battery life is long. It has a elegant, sleek design, so it looks great on your desk. This is my first optical mouse and I can't see ever going back. No ball to clean and I've found that the movements of the cursor are just as smooth as my old mouse, maybe even smoother (and I've had no problems on a black surface). The only fault I have found so far is the wheel which seems to move the screen in too-large-chunks. But I think this mouse is great.

Summary: Best pointing device I've ever used
Review: I've used so many different kinds of pointing devices (mice and trackballs) I can't count them. I've finally found the perfect device, this Logitech cordless optical mouse. I actually have two of them, one for work and one for home. I also own the first Logitech cordless optical mouse that came out for right handers, but gave it to my wife when this one came out, since I am left handed. I have not at all experienced the problem a previous reviewer had in the mouse being unable to move the pointer quickly and can only assume he had a defective unit. I introduced this mouse at work a few weeks ago, and everyone who uses it realizes that they need one too, and I notice it popping up on people's desks everywhere. It is so convenient if you're left handed, because almost everyone is right-handed and they come over to show me something and can simply pick it up and move it to the other side without the cord interfering with the movement. I have positioned the radio receiver behind my monitor where you can't even see it! And of course optical is the only way to go: it is incredibly precise and smooth. A fresh pair of alkaline AA batteries lasted three months. I replaced them with a pair of lithiums and I expect them to last a year! Imagine that!

Summary: Best Value for Cordless Optical Mice
Review: If you're looking for an inexpensive yet quality cordless optical mouse, this is your best bet.

I originally made the mistake of purchasing the Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse Blue (around the same price as the Logitech model), which seemed like it would work better without a clear path between the mouse and receiver. It worked alright, but after hearing some horror stories about things going wrong after a couple of weeks, I exchanged it before the return policy expired.

The Logitech mouse is far superior. I noticed immediately how much smoother and precise it was. It also has a much better power management system -- instead of the light being on constantly, it blinks after not being used for a certain length of time. With the included software, it's easy to track how your batteries are doing before they start giving you problems. I've had no problems with communication between the mouse and receiver since I set it up; it works just like a corded mouse.

This is the best cordless mouse that I have ever used. I especially recommend this for college students with cluttered desktops; the lack of cord really makes it easy to move things around.

Summary: Works fine!
Review: It has worked fine so far and i have no complaints. The mouse works while not in direct view of the reciever. I am glad I bought it!

Summary: It does the job,,,,
Review: It's difficult to get too excited about a mouse. But after frustrating encounters with the typical corded-roller-ball mouse, I decided to look into the latest technology.

This model is a relatively inexpensive solution to your mouse frustrations.

* Very easy to install
* Good battery life (2 AA batteries last approx two months)
* It feels great in your hand--nice and solid
* Great response. The way a mouse should perform.

I highly recommend it. It may cost more than the typical mouse, but it will last longer and cause you no headaches.
