Summary: Very Mac Compatible! Great keyboard & mouse combo.
Review: A previous reviewer gave this product 1 star and said its Mac compatibility was poor. IMHO, his/her reasoning is flawed. (not having enough USB ports on your machine is not a valid reason) Either buy a more modern machine, which has more ports, or buy a USB hub. The reviewer also claimed that the mouse required a PS/2 port in order to be used. It does not, and is wireless just like the keyboard.

I personally own 2 of these for my 2 Mac's at home and have given one to my Mom for Christmas to compliment her iBook. They all work very well, and are very customizable and easy to use.

The only complaint I have is the lack of an ON/OFF switch to save the batteries. However, I just bought some rechargeable AA's, and all is well. Very good product with high recommendations!

Summary: Poor quality
Review: I bought one of these and was surprised at the problems I had, as I have not experienced issues with Logitech products before.

After about two weeks, the left mouse button began to degrade in performance, and lost its "feel". It would squeak when clicked, and the amount of travel to press it down got much smaller. The "Enter" key on the numeric keypad would also stick down when pressed.

I returned the unit, and the replacement set would not even communicate between the keyboard or mouse and the receiver.

I returned the second set, and bought a wireless MS Multimedia keyboard and mouse instead, whith which I have had no problems in 2 months now.

Summary: Only 1 bad point
Review: I bought this combo for use in an office setting. It was simple to set up and works great. As it is for office use, I was looking for a simple keyboard without all the extra buttons for media, e-mail, webcam, etc, but could not find one. However, if you don't need those extra functions, you won't need to install the included software.

The only downside to this keyboard is there are no indicator lights for caps lock or num lock. However, it is such a small inconvenience I still give it five stars.

Summary: Great keyboard & mouse!
Review: I bought this for my parents for their Christmas present. I was elated with its performance and its ability to be customized. Had to download the most current OS X drivers for it to be recognized, though. The ones included in the box didn't allow for it to be seen under OS X v10.2. Once the newest ones were installed, everything worked perfectly. I liked it so much, I'm going to by one for myself, as well!

Summary: Not really Mac-compatable...
Review: I have an older iMac with 2 USB ports and no PS2 ports. The receiver needs one USB port for the keyboard and one PS2 port for the mouse. That means only the keyboard can be used out-of-box. The iMac keyboard has 2 usb ports, one of which I use (as is common) for my mouse. This frees up my other USB port for my printer. Even if I hook up just the keyboard, I am left having to choose between my printer and my mouse or buying more hardware (a usb hub) to get just a cordless keyboard.

Summary: Not for My Mac
Review: I have bought Logitech products for years but disappointed in this one. The one keyboard fits all just doesn't work here. No driver for OS9, I've had to hook up the old keyboard to get the CD tray to eject, you lose that extra usb port on the keyboard (for your camera etc.), and the mouse sucks up the batteries.

Summary: Love It!
Review: I have several cordless keyboard/mouse combos because I work on several different comptuers. This is the best! It doesn't have quite as many frills as a few of the more expensive Logitec combos, but the mouse on this one is much smoother and more responsive than my others. I wish I had this one on my other computers.

Summary: It's no Apple Pro
Review: I like the idea of wireless, and this package is cheaper than the Apple Pro keyboard and mouse. But while it's certainly serviceable, it's not the quality I expected. The keys are a little mushy, and the response is slow. The main drawback is its size. The thing is way too big. I may return it.

Summary: Only a couple tiny issues...
Review: I like this, except I did run into a couple things I don't like. For one, I don't think I am able to disable the sleep button, so I went into standby one time on accident. Also, the optical didn't work on my solid black mouse pad. I had to find another mouse pad with a gel wrist rest (got the pad at one of those office stores, like Office Max or something).

Summary: Not for mac users.
Review: I looked at a lot of keyboards before deciding to go with this one. Regardless of my research, I made a mistake. The keyboard and mouse are fine, it's the Logitech Control Center software (required to run if you want to access all of the keyboards extra buttons) that ruined this product for me. Running OS X, the software COMPLETELY disabled my ability to drag and drop. Even after uninstalling it, I was still crippled. I had to do a full reinstall of my OS X software to erase the corruption. Now, I can drag again, but I can not access all of the keyboard's features. I do NOT recommend this product for a mac user. It's a waste of money and a LOT of time.
