Summary: Plug and play works in seconds
Review: I bought this mouse for a new laptop. This was my first optical mouse. I am in love. I will have to buy 3 more for all the work desktops. Way to go Logitech another marvel.

Summary: Great!
Review: What can one say about a mouse? In this case, a lot! After years of taking apart mice (mouses?) for cleaning, I finally have a permanent solution. I actually bought this mouse a year ago, and have waited to review it until now.

The optical nature of this mouse means that there is no little ball to pick up dust and crumbs and collect them where they don't belong. The rolling action on this mouse is just as smooth as a normal mouse, and yet the optical feature is great. Frankly, I cannot imagine going back to a regular mouse.

If you need a new mouse for your computer, then I strongly recommend that you buy this great mouse!

Summary: Great Optical Mouse
Review: This mouse makes playing online games much more easier and fun! The laser can go on virtually any surface but obvoiusly you should use a mousepad. It comes with good software to program the different features of this mouse. The wheel also comes in handy when looking at wide and long pages. Overall, this is an incredible mouse for an affordable price!

Summary: THE BEST MOUSE!
Review: Hey I just opened this 5 minutes ago, and it is the coolest mouse ever! The colors are cool, and the installation is very easy. It moves so much smoother than a wheel mouse! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOUSE!

Summary: Hooray for Logitech!
Review: I have owned so many mice in my life that I have bought an extra cat to deal with them. Seriously, I guage all mice I buy by how long they last when compared to the first mouse I ever owned- a vintage circa 1990 two-button Dexxa, which lasted me 4 years and three PCs. I have owned 3 Logitech mice-all with wheels, one cordless and finally, this blue and silver little gem. Firstly, it's cheap, second, it ain't a Microsoft product. Third, set up time was as long as it took me to get it out of the box and slapped into the back of my system, which was about 13 seconds. Computer users of the world, get rid of your ball-mice and buy an optical mouse right now! Gone are the days of poor response from your mouse pointer because the ball and/or internal wheels are gummed up with dust, Fritos or salsa dip. It's great for applications like PhotoShop, fantastic for games like Unreal Tournament, Elite Force, and Homeworld- where there are a lot of sweeping movements. Movement is precise and accurate, the feel in your hand is comfortable, unless you have really big hands, then it might be a problem- plus it glows bright red when in operation, so that might be a selling feature to people who like lots of blinky-winky lights on their equipment. Is there a downside? Sometimes, you may accidentally bring up the Logitech control menu in the middle of something else you are doing- no big deal. Buy this mouse now.

Summary: Awesome mouse, you really need this one
Review: I purchased the Logitech Wheel Optical mouse ... yesterday, and I must say I am impressed with the all-out smoothness of it. This might be stating the obvious, but this mouse uses a laser instead of a ball (which creates less drag), and therefore has no moving parts. The beauty of this mouse is the ability to either use USB or PS/2 for the connection to your computer. In addition to the left and right buttons, it has a "wheel" in the middle. The wheel is spinable (is that a word?), and is used primarily for the Web, because you use it to scroll down the web page by spinning the wheel, instead of having to use the scrollbars. The wheel also functions as a third button, which, with the included software, can be set to do number of functions when clicked, such as load the Start Menu, close a program, double click, ect.

Originally, I used USB (because of its ease of use), but I experienced a problem. Sometimes while playing certain games, if I held down the left button, the button would stop working, and I had to release the button and reclick it. This became a nuisance, so I decided to try the PS/2 connection, and it worked fine. Maybe that's just my computer and/or mouse though.

Anyway, the mouse is a heck of a lot smoother than typical "ball" mice. The laser tracks your movement much more often, and that is why it is so much more precise. However, it doesn't like really bright, shiny, or glass surfaces; the darker the better. The reason why is because the mouse has to be able to "see" the laser on the surface, and brighter colors don't absorb color as well as darker colors do. Still, its a great for a gamer (like me), but its even a good purchase if you are just a casual PC user. And the best part is, you won't ever have to clean it out!

Summary: the mouse pad killer!!
Review: some random thoughts:
I like how the left and right click buttons have two distinct "tones" when you click them. It shows someone was paying attention!
It's a very high tech/sexy/James Bond kinda thing. If your computer is the standard light beige, this can help it look more stylish, and help alleviate any iMac or vaio envy....

The feel and tracking are very good. My desktop is made of wood that is very reflective and smooth apparently, so I taped a piece of paper to my desk to use as my new mouse pad!

Summary: Works like a charm!
Review: It was a cinch to hook up, and I don't have to worry about cleaning it. It has a really cool red light inside the mouse that everyone comments on. If you are tired of your mouse dragging your curser (sp?) across the screen because of the dirt inside of it, then you need this baby! It's worth every penny!

Summary: works w/ pc & mac, excellent price, solid performer
Review: Between work and home, i've bought about 10 or so of these and they simply work. No special drivers needed for either Mac or PC, with either USB or mouse port, and they're lefty-friendly. I personally like the feel a lot more than the Kensington or MS mice, and this one is $10 cheaper (at least). Not having to deal with sticky, skiddy dirty mechanical mice is well worth the price.

Summary: Great, cheap Optical USB mouse!
Review: It is cheap, has a webwheel (a great feature), and a second button. Buy it now!
