Rating: Summary: Attention Non-wireless users Review: The keyboard and the mouse works with no problems, it deserves to get a good score. However, there are some personal issues that I have with it. For the keyboard, I feel that the tilt angle is not high enough as I've been using Microsoft keyboards all my life. For the mouse, I switched from a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer to this one. I feel that the movement is not as accurate as my wired mouse. Also, the batteries add to the weight of the mouse which makes it tiring job to use the mouse. If you don't need to use the mouse or keyboard acrosss the room, I personally suggest sticking with a wired mouse.
Rating: Summary: Love that cordless Review: This thing popped up in my Gold Box on Amazon.com last week. I thought it might be just what I needed for using my laptop computer at home. I was right. I got it at a good price and it sets up and works flawlessly. It did take me a little thought to get some of the features to work, a lot of which I'll probably never use. There's not much printed instruction that comes with the unit and I have a hard time concentrating on online instructions. But I have plenty of time so it was no problem getting it set up. As for battery life, I have bunches of rechargeables so this should be no problem. Wish I'd gotten this unit a long time ago. I recommend this one for anybody with a stationary laptop computer.
Rating: Summary: AWSOME PIECE OF HARWARE Review: I brought this not to upgrade but because my factory keyboard wire broke and i wish i would have brought this when i got my computer!! This is one thing evercomputer should have!! ITS WELL WORTH ITS MONEY!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Lovely Review: i have not had one problem whatsoever with this keyboard/mouse. i would recomend it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Takes a little getting used to... Review: I just received this product yesterday and immediately replaced my old keyboard and mouse with it. I think that the cordless part is great. It was a breeze to set up and start to use. I guess my biggest problem is that I have so many buttons that I am not used to utilizing. Another little problem is that there are several places for them where you push a button and you automatically go to "their" pre-chosen web pages. Like this finance page. There is one touch control for ebay. Maybe I am the last person in the world that doesn't use Ebay, but I don't so I don't need a button for it. The design and set up part was great. There are a few things that I will work around now...it is generally a very good system.
Rating: Summary: Freedom Indeed Review: I bought this because i wanted to get rid of cables, and extend my keyboard and mouse range. It did perform the latter function. Upon connecting and installing, everything went perfect. The software is easy to install, and pluging in the device is easy enough for anybody. Youll have your keyboard and mouse set up in minutes. Range is pretty good, i found myself sitting at the other end of the room, and still being able to use the devices properly (now if only i had a bigger screen). The keyboard has a great feel, even though at times it can be a little over-sensitive whilst the mouse is just perfect. The shape was ergonomically designed to fit naturally in your hand. One problem is the load of buttons, and how programming them is a little complicated Personaly i prefer a much simpler keyboard, but if you like having programs at the touch of a button this is great for you. Another problem is the software, where (even if not faulty) can get tedious when you pressa wrong button and a pop up screen comes up, or how it keeps asking you to update software regularly. The only thig i regret about this bundle, is the fact that you have to place the receiving device a dozen of inches away from any electronic device, adding another cord to the endless chords behind my desk. it wold have been much cooler if it was just a tiny receiver with huge, HUGE!!! coverage you could place anywhere. But all in all it is a good buy, well worth its price. And if you play DVDs on your computer and dont have a remote control (because of stupid program/drive incompatibilities) this will prove to be bliss... Now all you have to do is get a biger screen.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Reception and Keyboard Review: I have used Microsoft Keyboards all of my life; but I wanted a wireless split-key (sister to this model) and had to settle for a Logitech. What a surprise! It works excellently up to 6' away from the receiver. A breeze to setup and use. It takes 2 AA batteries, which seem to work great. All in all, a great product!
Rating: Summary: bought it for multi media controlls, got much more Review: I bought this keyboard and mouse set up for one reason, the multi media controlls, and the fact that it was wireless. I planned to use it as a remote for my computer, which is attachecd to my sound system. before this I had no way to change tracks in winamp from across the room. So i went out and dropped 90 bucks when it first came out... to use it as a remote. once i set it all up, including the buttons, it made my day to day cyber life much easier. By far i got a ton more than i expected. I would buy it again, and after like 4 days, my roommate, who laughed at me for spending so much, bought one too. Get the keyboard, and bask in the freedom it provides.
Rating: Summary: Dig it all but the wheel Review: This is a great setup. Really freed up my desktop. Everything works very well, easy to setup. I am not crazy about the wheel on the mouse - It can be jumpy sometimes and unresponsive others. I also prefer the right mouse button to be set further towards the outside edge of the mouse, or maybe just a little bigger. For my money it was a good value overall. I would definitley recommend it to anyone looking to go cordless. As with anything that is battery operated, don't expect those batteries to last forever!
Rating: Summary: Attn: Dvorak users Review: This keyboard is very slick and the keys have really nice action; however, I use the dvorak layout with this keyboard and was surprised to find that the stems on the bottom of the keys are rectangles (not squares). Thus, not all the keys can be popped and swapped. When I rearranged my keys to suit my layout, I had to turn four keys sideways to make them fit. Even in light of this, this keyboard is by far the nicest and most comfortable I've ever owned.
