Summary: Do not waste your money on this one!
Review: I bought this mouse a couple of months ago, and I wish I
hadn't wasted my money. The mouse cursor jumps all over
the place, and is extremely frustrating to use. This happens
regardless of the distance between the base and the mouse,
and regardless of which computer I try to use it on.
I strongly recommend against buying this mouse!

Summary: Comfort, precision, power hungry
Review: I chose this mouse by trying all of them in a large electronics store. Its feel in my small hand was by far the best At first, I paused at its relatively high price but then I realized how much I use my mouse--and I'm worth it. After using it for several months, I am still delighted by its ergonomics and control-ability. The only complaint I have is that the batteries wear out faster than I'd like, perhaps every 2 months.

Summary: The Best Mouse that I have ever owned
Review: I got this mouse after giving up on my 6 year old normal wheel mouse. I have been extremely impressed at the quality of this, and the battery life and so much more. If you are looking for the best mouse under <$$ go for this one.

For these reason:

1) Optical - Logitech invented the technology and it still is one of the most accurate mice out there.
2) Battery life - I get about 3 months out of 2 AA's. However, I use cheap batteries, and therefore my total year cost or the mouse is only about $.
3) Duarbilty - I have dropped this mouse on many occasions 4 feet onto a hard concrete floor, and it still is in perfect working condition

It's a great mouse!

Summary: Mighty Mouse
Review: I had been shopping for a mouse to replace the cheapo one which came with my computer. I really wanted a cordless one, but was concerned that perhaps a cordless mouse would be subject to all kinds of problems and therefore not be nearly as accurate. But, based on the reviews here at Amazon, I was convinced to purchase the Logitech Cordless Optical Wheel Mouse. Thank you Amazon reviewers and thank you Logitech! This wonderful little piece of electronics is FAR MORE accurate and responsive than my old mouse. And no more constant tugging on the cord. It also clicks very quietly (my old mouse was loud enough to wake people up). A terrific mouse at a very reasonable price. Do not hesitate to buy this if you are looking for a new mouse.

Just one slight problem to mention ... during the software installation, the setup program asks you to click on your responses - which is, of course, strangely impossible since the new mouse is not working yet. Use the tab and enter keys instead.

Summary: Okay mouse, batteries a total pain!
Review: I had this mouse for a while, probably over a year. The thing that made me hate it and end up selling it was because of the annoyance of how many times I had to switch batteries. I'd come back to the computer wanting to do something quickly, mouse would work for a second and then hang on the screen, meaning the batteries died. Didn't matter if it was regular or rechargeable batteries, this mouse was a TOTAL PAIN. The endless times I had to change the batteries made the "cordless" feature annoying. I won't go back to cordless mice unless it's a non-battery type. I ended up selling the mouse because I was sick of the inconvenience, it seemed like it was every 2 weeks!

Also, I paid $50 and besides the battery issue, the feel didn't seem to merit $50. I'm left handed and it was definitely comfortable for left-handed people but the weight of the mouse was a little off, possibly too light.

Also, for a while I had a glass desk and this optical mouse would stop dead in it's tracks because it can't track on glass. Now I have a wooden desk, but the battery issue made me sell it after only a year or so.

Great idea having a cordless optical mouse, but I'll stick to my corded optical Microsoft blue mouse, I also have a Logitech corded optical mouse that works well, but for some reason I prefer the Microsoft one, probably because the buttons are more ergonomic.

Good luck mouse hunting.

Summary: A decent mouse but can improve
Review: I have been using a touchpad for the past 2 years. I bought this mouse for my wife and tried it for the first few days. On Windows XP, the install is clean. But I was surprised to see that this mouse does not ship with a mousepad. An Optical mouse by virtue of it's technology should be used on a specific surface otherwise it results in a jerky movement. Also there was no instructions whatsoever to suggest the kind of surface to be used on.

It is very sensitive and people used to traditional mice or touchpads will take time to adjust.

Summary: Great Product. over a year old now.
Review: I have been using this mouse for over a year now, I have had a great experience with it, and am loving its mobility for the entire time. I am really rough with it too, I have a laptop backpack that I keep it in the front pocket of, and when you put it down, it lands right on the mouse. I have only two things I would change about it,(one of them is my fault) First is the battery door, I dropped the mouse and the battery door broke so I have to use it without one, (no problem but one of the batteries falls out occationally, no biggie) and the second one is that the receiver is not small like all of the mice you find for laptops now only having a small USB 'nub' this one has a 36" cord with a receiver just smaller than the mouse, not a huge deal to some one using it with a desktop computer, but someone who intends to use it with a laptop, be prepared.
I also read in someone's review that the battery life was short, FALSE I have only changed the batteries in it twice in the last year I have been using it. the last tiime was abobut a week ago. It tells you when the batteies are getting low, and you have about 15 hours more use before they will actually die.

Summary: to be used and abused...
Review: I have had this mouse for more than 3 years and it has been dropped, hitted, and I have used and abused all its buttons. I haven't used this mouse in a gentle way, sometimes I'm on a rush at the office and a I don't have the time to treat nice the office stuff. Well, I have yet to see the minimal fail in the mouse, it keeps working exactly the same way as the first day I used. Also, if you are a left hand user it is great as it has a neutral shape. This mouse is deeply recommended and for its price it's really a steal.

Summary: Great mouse, Great company!
Review: I have had this mouse for over a year and I have had absloutly no problems with it! I have only had to replace the batteries 3 times in the past year or year and a half! This mouse is one of my best electronic buys. I have absloutly no complaints about it. I would suggest it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, incredibly well working wireless optical mouse. Logitech is the way to go!

Summary: Stay Away
Review: I have used this mouse for almost a year. I have to change the batteries at least once a week. Also, Logitech has never answered all the e-mails I have sent regarding this issue. Check out their on-line site and read the forum they have. Most of the listings mirror what I have a problem with. Logitech does not back up their problems. Stay away from this company!
