Summary: Very Nice Duo
Review: I bought this duo as an alternative to my Apple Pro keyboard & mouse. After three weeks of use, I can not say but good things about both, the wireless keyboard and mouse. If you're still wired, and looking for a wireless solution, this is the deal.

For Mac users like me, the software works well under the latest version of Mac OS X (Jaguar 10.2.6), and I would recommend you download the latest version if it didn't come included in the CD (latest is 1.1.1). The only negative aspect I've found so far is that at times when you try a startup keyboard command (like command-S or left mouse button to eject a CD), it will not work. This is not a problem for me though, since I have the base station connected to one of the USB ports in my Apple Pro keyboard and I will use this for startup commands.

All in all, great deal. I might buy another soon.

Summary: Always precise and Drivers are Great
Review: I've been using Logitech mice for 8 years now without a hitch and the Elite Duo is still excellent. The problem with Tracking or Skipping is ALWAYS attributed to the Transmitter location and it's very sensitive so you must experiment with location.
Once you have it down you can use it from another room and Logitech always updates & perfects their drivers. I use an Elite Duo with my Older Mouseman PS2 Ball and a Keyboard Serial touchpad not to mention the extra PS2 keyboard and have 0 problems.
Battery life could be better in the mouse but when you use it for 12h/7d/365 I guess it can be a problem. I use NIMH rechargeables and get about 3 weeks.
PS: you can easily switch hands with this mouse if you're good too.

Summary: Excellent !
Review: I have been using my Logitech Cordless Elite Duo system for about 6 months now and am somewhat satisfied with the quality of the product. If I had the choice to buy a keyboard again (which I will soon) I would for out a little extra for the rechargable mouse. Since this is a battery keyboard and mouse I find that I am using about 6-8 AA batteries every 5 weeks or so. I am just a little more than your average computer user, but not much. One problem I did have was the driver download of the logitech website. My F-keys are all messed up and do not seems to match the program I have (after much review to ensure what I thought was correct). One good thing is the fact that the default PNP windows op systems does operate with this setup without the need for installed drivers/software. I would only choose this setup if I was on a budget but wanted to have wirless now. I do overall think logitech is a good company from past experience.
