Summary: Logitech MX700
Review: This is a great mouse. I am a PC user who is always on the computer and I am always using my mouse. This mouse has a very fast response time and the battery lasts a very long time. The only thing that can be annoying is that you have to always be sure to put it in the charger. This is a great mouse and I highly recommend it!

Summary: For the serious user!
Review: This mouse is fabulous! I am a web designer/developer, graphic artist (among other things) and a MAC user. I had been quite annoyed by my optical mouse. Being that my mouse is my pencil and paintbrush in the digital world, I need something more sensitive and efficient. I found that in the Logitech MX700. It is smooth and dependable with programable buttons (an added bonus). You have to learn to put the mouse in the cradle when you leave your computer, but that is a user issue and not an issue with this mouse. You also need to have an extra 20" of space for the cradle, but I didn't have a problem making a home for it near my workspace.

All-in-all, this mouse is everything I needed and more. I was surprised at how smooth it is and how easy it is to use. Highly reccomended!

Summary: CrazY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in the good way
Review: First time I saw this mouse on a newspaper advertising, my heart jumped. It was love at first sight(at least to me). I knew immediately that this mouse was right for me. I also wanted this mouse because my brother would not be able to pull on the cord. The mouse, to me, has an awesome design, but, the mouse is over priced. Overall I will give it a 4 because of ($_$).

Summary: Works great
Review: This optical wireless mouse works great. With the fast sample rate, this mouse is very accurate. I like the extra buttons on it. The only thing I don't like is that the mice is a little bit too heavy. I highly recommand people buy this mice.

Summary: 3 top buttons DO NOT work in in games
Review: If you are a gamer, understand that the cruise and task switch buttons do not work in games. This mouse has 8 buttons but only 5 are bindable with the Mouseware 9.75 drivers. If you are expecting to use all the buttons in games you will be disappointed.

Summary: Terrific Mouse - take advantage of the rebate!
Review: This is the first cordless mouse I've owned and I'm amazed at how great it is to experience cordless freedom. Pointing precision is as good as or better than the corded mice I've used on PCs and Macs. Ergonomics are excellent for my largish hand, although this simply isn't a mouse for left handers.

Currently using this on my new iMac and installation was a nothing under OSX 10.2. Runs fine through a Belkin powered USB hub, too. I've thus far been able to disregard Logitech's rather unrealistic instructions to place the base unit 20 inches or more from electronic equipment. No problems with the base far closer to active gear than this, and good thing, too - how many of us have such a spot available on our desks?

Battery life hasn't been an issue for me - I leave it on the base overnight and it hasn't died on me yet. I've found the added buttons, especially the forward and back buttons on the left side, extremely useful, and I now miss these on other people's mice.

If you're in the market for a new mouse, this is a winner. Grab one while the rebate is still on!

Summary: Battery endurance test
Review: Test Scenario:
Constant usage from 9am-6pm everyday. Never placed it in its cradle until the batteries were dead.

Test Result:
Battery that came with the box: 2.5 days (batteries declared dead around noon)
Sony batteries: 4 days (batteries found dead on day 5 when I returned to work)
Maxell batteries: 4 days (batteries found dead on day 5 when I returned to work)

Note:
Place the mouse back on its cradle for 15 minutes does give you enough juice for a few extra hours.

Summary: A super nice mouse.
Review: I have had my MX700 for a few days now and find it to be the best mouse I have ever used. It fits the hand very nicely and all of the buttons and scroll are in the right places. It seems to have solved a conflict problem I have had with two other mice on my laptop. The only downside? I can't stick it in in my pocket when I move my laptop. Its weight is no real problem, but gives it the feeling of being well built, which it appears to be.
