Summary: Covers all tne bases
Review: I've had my MX for about 6 months and have to admit that it's the best mouse by far that I've owned. I must have a dozen saved in plastic sandwich bags over the whole evolution. The optical response is much better than a cordless mechanical mouse...I like the larger size and ergonomic fit in my hand....the combo charger/sending unit saves on expensive batteries and helps from having to excavate to find where you put the thing the next morning. For my needs, I can't imagine going back to a corded mouse. Well worth the few extra dollars.

Summary: Works as advertised
Review: Could not be more pleased. It works as advertised. The Logitech MX700 cordless is just like a corded mouse as far as sensitivity. I can tell no difference except now I can put it on my lap or change the position of the mouse so my hand/arm doesn't get so tire. Batteries last a couple days and can easily be recharged when you are away from the computer. Recharging takes a couple hours from near dead. It has not failed me yet. The other buttons on the mouse do actually come in handy. I just have to remember they are there. I am getting better at that. Set up was very easy on my ME OS.

Summary: Great mouse
Review: Bought this mouse about two weeks ago. I love it so far.

Main reason I went for this mouse over a microsoft mouse was the rechargable batteries. You put the mouse in the receiver cradle and within two hours it is charged up and ready to go.

Without recharging the mouse I was able to use the mouse for 1 1/2 days. I recommend always putting it in the cradle to recharge at night.

I downloaded and installed the latest software from logitech's site. I did notice a pointer vibration problem but this only seems to happen when I play Morrowind(tm).

This system consists of three pieces, mouse, base/receiver and a/c adapter. The a/c adapter plugs into the USB cable of the base/receiver so the only cable you will see coming from behind your computer is the one for the base/receiver.

Summary: NOPE!
Review: My first review on this product was about a week after I purchased it, even then I was not satisfied with the size and ergonomics of the mouse.
After a little over a month the number of issues I've been having with it have driven me to purchase the Microsoft Wireless.
The bummer is that I'm a pretty avid supporter of Logitechs gaming devices, but a piece of junk is a piece of junk and for the money, that's what this is.

First off, the pointer will randomly begin to shake, the buttons get stuck or just don't click unless I press hard and the distance I can take this mouse from the reciever is a joke (4 feet at best).

Secondly the programmable features for the individual buttons leave way to much to be desired, the software included with the mouse installs Logitechs own adware on to my hard drive, eating up resources that I would rather allocate to my applications.

There are better products for your money than this.

Summary: Sexy mousing at last!
Review: This little sex-pot of a mouse delivers extremely smooth motion, sleek silver/black design and enough buttons to rival my internet-keyboard. The version of Mouseware that ships with this mouse also allows you to use the cool new autoscroll function, instead of wheeling down the page and getting arthritis you can just hold down a conveniently placed button and let 'er fly. The battery charger is a godsend, the LED on the back of the mouse even pulses when the batteries are low to remind you. Possibly my favorite feature however, is the removal of those rubber grip-pads from the older mouseman designs that collected hand-oils and got slimey and disgusting...this thing is really a choice piece of engineering!

Summary: Love it!
Review: I was a tad leary of this mouse at first. It takes a day or two to get acclimated to the sensitiveness. After the a day or two, I had no problems and I thoroughly enjoy it. No problems with charging, and I even kept it out of the base station overnight and days at time. I was having some carpal tunnel symptoms with the old standard mouse. No such problems now. Buy it.

Summary: Just super
Review: I have one of Logitech's earlier mice, and this has two advantages: the charging base station (never have to change the batteries) and enough buttons to do internet back/forward. It's precise and good enough that I forget I'm using it. Best mouse I've had.

Summary: Very good mouse with a tiny flaw....
Review: Logitech's new MX700 is really amazing. Not only is it wireless, it also is rechargable. The rechargable aspect of it will save you HUNDREDS down the road. Most of my friends own a wireless mouse and they dish out about $12 a month on batteries alone. With the recharge feature, you not only get a wireless mouse - you get a wireless mouse that never needs new batteries. I'm not sure really sure why people are complaining about the software....the mouse installs fine and works like a wonder. Some also argue that the shape of the mouse is not right...well....logitech has made a mouse that is in mid ground. This means that the shape/size/weight is just right so that they can attract the most users without having to make a brand new mouse. Think about it for a second...if logitech had to make 3-4 versions of the mouse...it would not even be close to the [money]that you have to pay for it. Many would wonder why I only gave it four stars. The batteries that are included with the mouse are very generic and very very low quality. If you are a non-gamer, this is completely fine. But if you game often and like the play alot of games like UT, BF1942, etc....the batteries will not be suited for you. The batteries last about 6-8 hours if you surf on the web - basically normal use. But if you do alot of intense gaming (FPS where you move the mouse ALOT when turning and looking at your surroundings), the batteries only last around 3-4 hours. This can be fine for casual gamers, but sometimes 3-4 hours just doesn't cut it. Of course the problem can be solved by buying higher quality batteries; but then, that is more money on your part.

Pros:
Very good for the price
Nice shape that almost anybody can deal and live with
Many button functions
Rechargable
VERY accurate
Not to heavy/Not to light - Just right
Nice look
It's Logitech! come on ;)

Cons.
The batteries that come with the mouse are very low quality and only last 3-4 hours under intense gaming conditions.
