Rating: Summary: Stay away from this p.o.s. Review: I bought this mouse for the geek factor of having a fan built into it to cool off my hand. Not terribly practical, but a neat little touch. At $15, the price certainly seemed right. There is a major problem I've had with this mouse, though, and after a little bit of forum searching I've found that I'm not the only one. Now and then, seemingly at random, the mouse will stop responding and I'll have to unplug it and then replug it back into the USB port to get it working again. Not exactly convenient when I'm in the middle of a round of UT2004 or Battlefield 1942. I would recommend staying away from this cheapo mouse and spending the extra cash to get something sturdy and dependable from Logitech or Microsoft.

Rating: Summary: Not great, but I don't regret the purchase... Review: There doesn't appear to be a huge market (last I checked, two commercially available) for mice with fans built in, but for those of us with hands that are too warm for comfort, these efforts are appreciated. And let us not forget the computer case modders that originally brought us the idea by hacking away at the internals of their own mice.I'm more a fan of the typical Microsoft mice because they fit the shape of my hands perfectly, but at work where it's a little warmer in the office, I'm found using the nYko air flo. The noise level is quieter than I thought, but the level of air flow is also slightly lower than I had hoped for. There are ribs on the edges of the mouse, presumably to promote air flow (not sure if that's for induction or not), however they do not provide the most comfortable surface for the tips of my fingers to rest on. Mouse tracking is what I expect from any decent optical mouse, and clicking and wheel-feel is reminiscent of higher-priced mice. A strange noise now accompanies the starting of the fans (small switch located on the bottom of the mouse, providing two speeds) after only a week of use. It tends to go away after 10 seconds or so, but it's quite audible and distracting (sounds like the fan is coming in contact with something in the mouse). I will continue to use it, since it keeps my hand significantly cooler and dryer than normal, but I hope some improvements are made in the future. I do feel that the price was low enough to help me deal with the minor issues I have with it.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Mouse! Review: This is a wonderful mouse if you're getting tired of your hand being sweaty or clammy while using a mouse. I've been using this mouse for a couple of months now and have had 0 problems with it. The fans are cool and quiet, you can barely hear the noise the fans make and they blend in with your computer anyway. The mouse has 650dpi tracking which is as high as there is on the market today so it's very accurate. Highly recommended for anyone but especially for people in warmer areas or with warmer hands.
