Summary: A must for Maya users!
Review: Alias/Wavefront's Maya was designed for a 3-button mouse like these, since the application started on the SGI. I have one for work and was going to buy another for home, only to find Amazon isn't stocking them any more?!? Quite a shame.

Summary: Why spend big bucks when all the functionality is here?
Review: Mac (people) can only handle one button. Microsoft has to make up usage's for the third button. The bottom line is, if you are using UNIX or Linux or if you are into CAD. The third button has meaning.

Now that we have covered reasons for the third button, lets cover durability. A lot of mice are like light bulbs; they can go out at any minute. You can give this one to your grand kid. And you don't have to hold your hand in a funny position to get some odd wheel turning. Real mousers want to move the mouse. If you do not want to move your mouse, get a joystick.
