Rating: Summary: Love it or hate it I guess Review: Some people seem to hate this mouse, but I like it a lot. The shape is fine and I find I have better control over it than any other mouse I've used. The best part though is that I no longer have to clean the rollers since there are no moving parts in the tracking mechanism.Try it, you'll probably like it a lot and if you don't you can always return it.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Mouse! Review: Microsoft B75-00001 IntelliMouse Explorer is a great mouse, the mouse moves across most surfaces and is in a good shape for your hand. Some people think that the mouse is to big and to lite. I disagree, I think that it is the right size and shape, and is really not to lite. I gave this product 5 stars because it was higher than my expectations and it was worth the money.
Rating: Summary: Not the best looking mouse, but it fits Review: It's not a pretty mouse, but unlike the iMac mouse, it works. It was larger and uglier than I thought, but after using it for a couple of weeks, I'm happy with it.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST MOUSE......EVER Review: This mouse is by far the greatest one ever. it doesnt skip, it flows smoother then any other mouse. It lets you program the buttons, and the two extra buttons on the side add so many extra features especially on the internet. It is absolutely a must have if you are a mac owner too.
Rating: Summary: I love the IntelliMouse Explorer Review: This mouse is great! I find it very comfortable and easy to use. I would not recommend this mouse if you use your left hand to mouse around! It is not designed to work with lefties from my experience. I really like that it works on any surface. A must have if you read long documents.
Rating: Summary: THERE ARE BETTER MICE AVAILABLE Review: THE INTELLIEYE EXPLORER IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. IT'S VERY LARGE AND BULKY, AND PEOPLE WITH SMALL HANDS WILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH IT. IT'S NOT VERY COMFORTABLE TO USE AND IT MADE MY HAND HURT AFTER USING IT FOR ONLY AN HOUR OR SO, SOMETHING I DIDN'T EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER MICE. LEFTIES MUST HAVE A HELL OF A TIME WITH THIS MOUSE. IT WORKS FINE WHEN SURFING THE 'NET, ALTHOUGH IT ISN'T VERY PRECISE AT ALL AND THE ACTION IS SLOW. WHEN YOU LIFT THE MOUSE OFF OF THE MOUSEPAD OR DESK, IT KEEPS TRACKING AND THIS CAN BE A REAL PAIN IN THE YOU KNOW WHAT WHEN PLAYING 3D SHOOTERS. I RETURNED THIS MOUSE AND PURCHASED A RAZOR BOOMSLANG (WHICH USES A BALL INSTEAD OF A LAZER) AND IT TRACKED MUCH BETTER AND FASTER THAN THE INTELLIEYE. DO NOT BUY THIS OVERPRICED MOUSE. A $20 LOGITECH MOUSE IS SUPERIOR TO THIS $70 PAPERWEIGHT.
Rating: Summary: Falls short on value for money Review: I bought this product out of sheer fancy for its look and grip. Having used a Logitech wheel mouse at less than one third of the price I paid for this mouse, I was disappointed that the Web Wheel option has not been included as a choice for button assignments to the wheel button. The Web Wheel is a disc that is invoked on clicking the wheel button. It allows the user to assign five sites to five segments of the wheel, each of which can be clicked to reach its programmed site. There are five other segments in that wheel that correspond to standard functions in a Browser. The position of the small thumb button is awkward and could be accidentally pressed. Imagine somebody assigning the Close function to that button and then clicking it while reading a page or composing a mail. Buy it if you like a good grip and hate to clean mice balls. Wait for the price to drop by another ten bucks before you buy.
Rating: Summary: Neat concept, bad design Review: After extensive use I found that this mouse caused minor RSI pain. The shape is just too bulky and difficult to work with. In addition to this the mouse buttons suffer from the same problem I have had with other Microsoft mice: the buttons are poor quality. Sometimes when I press the button and drag, it releases before I let my finger up. I bought a Logitech mouse and have had no problem.
Rating: Summary: IntelliEye A Definite Plus Review: I plowed through a half-dozen mice for my home PC before settling on this one because of the optical technology. The IntelliMouse Explorer is a little clunky and doesn't fit my hand as well as the Logitech MouseMan wheel mouse does. Its best feature however, is the small red "eye" that it uses to navigate. If you have ever had problems with your hair, dust, or pet hair clogging up a mouse ball this mouse will be a dream because it eliminates that problem completely. All of the buttons on the mouse are programmable and it's extremely easy to use and to get used to. I have found that it doesn't work very well on smooth or non-traditional surfaces, in spites of Microsoft's advertising that it does. The mouse works best on a cloth mouse pad. Microsoft needs to put more ergonomic thought and quality production into this mouse before their product will earn five stars. The Logitech feels significantly better and more stable, but ultimately went by the wayside due completely to the IntelliEye technology offered by this mouse.
Rating: Summary: Great Freakin Mouse Review: Works great with the Mac. Can't say enought about the Back and Forward buttons for the internet. Perfect performance on any surface that doesn't reflect. Highly comfortable and easy to use. Install was simple and smooth.
