Summary: Great Mouse, but verdict still out . . .
Review: Initially sort of unnerved by smooth scrolling of wheels, but not really a problem after a little use. Am going to buy two more of these mice, to give to friends. Would have rated 5 stars if I didn't have the problem, solved below.Only problem was that the mouse scrolled up part way then stopped in mid screen instead of continuing as it should have, i.e. erratic up scrolling. Had to take mouse apart (one screw) to fix it, hopefully permanently. Q-tip and rubbing alcohol cleaned some oil residue off areas around the ball, the gears and axles driven by the ball, and the normally-removable ball retaining plastic disk. The bottom (interior) side of the top of the mouse, near where the ball retaining disk attaches, had some light oil on it, too, which I removed. I then put a drop of silicone spray on each supporting end of the two axles* which are moved by the rubber ball and the mouse worked fine afterward. *You'll know what I mean if you disassemble the mouse. Incidentally, setting the up-down scroll to one line at a time makes the smooth scrolling quite nice.

Review: The mouse is very smooth, and I love the speed. I use it for work and do some art and publishing. I turn the wheels to scroll up/down left/right and it zooms in and out instead. Checked the install software for the zoom feature and it's supposed to be on the third button. As a previous owner stated, the third button is a little hard to reach and the options for the button are not as many as with other mice. The smoothness of the wheels are a little hard to get used to too.

Review: This is a good mouse at a good price. The only thing that keeps it from being a great mouse is that the scroll wheels are totally smooth. This makes changing weapons in some games difficult.

Review: This mouse is great. The buttons can be set for left or right handers. The speed on the wheels can be set to your preference. The third button has many options to choose from. The mouse opens on the bottom for easy cleaning. The software installed easily even though my mouse actually worked before installation. Overall there is no better mouse for the money!
