Summary: GET THIS!
Review: It works, and works well. I travel now with just my Palm m505 and this keyboard in a waist pouch. How easy can they make life! Get this, and you will be happy you did.

Summary: oh my goodness - i love this thing!
Review: i love my portable keyboard. i adore it. i can't use graffitti to save my life - but i can type quite fast - and since this is the "right" size to fit under my fingers, my dictation problems are over, now that i have this wonderful gadget. the only downside is that you need to have a firm, flat surface to type on, but those really aren't that hard to come by, if you're a bit creative.

Summary: The best portable keyboard you can buy
Review: This review is going to be short, primarily because there really isn't much you can say against this keyboard. The tactile feedback is a little too light, simply because the fold-out design prohibits the keys from depressing as far as a real keyboard's. This helps contribute to the keyboard's overall flimsy feel. The lack of a Home or End key is one of those fairly minor dissapointments that WILL bug you evey time you reach for those keys. This slight inconvenience is almost outbalanced by the addition of the done, backlight, etc. quickkeys.

The keyboard is well manufactured, it's fun to use, INCREDIBLY high on the cool gadget totem pole, and an absolute must for anyone that has to take notes on a palm M500/M505.

Summary: Improve Your Efficiency and Make Co-Workers Green with Envy!
Review: As a heavy word-processing (via Documents To Go) and note-taking user on my Palm, I was becoming frustrated by the slow speed of inputting data by hand into my PDA.

Fortunately, a friend at work, sympathetic to my plight, recommended the fold-up Palm Portable Keyboard as a possible solution.

This keyboard by Palm is amazing! First off, it's an engineering marvel. Folded up and in its case, it's just a little bigger than the Palm V itself. But when I unfurl it at meetings (or when traveling on planes), my co-workers' mouths just hang open in astonishment. They can't believe that a full-size keyboard can fold up to be so small. And they are green with envy that I no longer need to take meeting notes by hand with a pen and paper (and that the information I store is immediately and remotely accessible whenever I need it by opening the file on my Palm).

The Palm keyboard is definitely high-tech cool! And with its included zippered case, the keyboard and my hand-held both fit easily into whatever space I have left in my briefcase -- no matter how small -- for transport to-and-from the office and home.

I now use the keyboard to do all of my data inputting (or as much as I can while sitting down) for my (company Lotus Notes) calendar, for my (Franklin) task list, for my (Palm) memos, and for my (Documents To Go) MS Word documents. I now even use the keyboard to take messages when I'm on the phone or when I'm accessing voice mail (further eliminating the need for pads of paper in my office).

The key spacing feels normal and the key stroke input is very positive and accurate (although the size of the "enter" and right hand "shift" key seem a little small at first).

Unfortunately, even with the available keyboard shortcuts and menu commands, I still find myself using a combination of keystrokes and stylus inputs to navigate completely around my Palm's screen. (What the keyboard really needs is an optional touch pad or cordless mouse. Say, Palm, how about it?) In spite of this, I'm still saving lots of time since typing in words is infinitely faster than tapping them in by hand.

The keyboard's inability to "lock" in the center and become rigid is my only major gripe, since this makes typing on one's lap somewhat difficult. But I've solved this problem by using either a tall book or something similar (like a large, thin photo album, of which I have many) as my "lap desk."

Improve your work efficiency -- and make your co-workers green with envy -- by using a Palm Portable Keyboard! (What more could one ask for in life?)

Summary: The best accessory for Palm devices... EVER!
Review: I use my Palm Vx to keep my calendar and client contacts in order. When I ride the train, I play a few games to keep from getting bored. I never bothered composing emails because it took too much time and energy to write out or "tap" all those letters on the on-screen keyboard. I bought the folding keyboard so I could expand the capabilities of my Vx. The keyboard is very clever. It's only a little larger than the Palm and unfolds to a FULL SIZE keyboard. Now I type up quick email messages and memos for work. When I travel, I use Word Smith from Blue Nomad software to compose a travel diary. The text documents I type up become Microsoft Word files on my PC! While it is not the ideal device for composing a novel, it does permit you the freedom of writing without lugging around a laptop. If you know someone who uses a Palm Device, the keyboard is an excellent companion gift. (Just make sure you get the right one - they keyboards are designed for specific models)

Summary: I can leave my laptop behind now!
Review: The Palm Portable Keyboard is an ingenious design. Folded, it is a little over twice as thick as the M505. Unfolded, it is the size of a standard laptop keyboard.

The tactile feel of the keys is excellent and there are shortcut keys for the standard apps (Datebook, Phone, To Do, Note, Apps, Menu, Calc, and Find). There are also keys to scroll, create new entries, and my favorite - turn on the backlight.

The nice thing about coupling this keyboard with an M500 series Palm is that you can have instant-on versatility. If you are sitting in a meeting, you can pop out the keyboard, mount the Palm and away you go. No muss, no fuss, with no worries about your battery dying (unless you have a several day meeting:)

This has been one of the best accessories I have purchased for my Palm. If you combine it with any of a number of third-party Word and Excel simulators, you can basically replicate most of what you would do with a laptop, in terms of documents.

The two keys I wish were on the keyboard are Home and End. I tend to use these a lot and miss them at times. However, returning to the beginning or end of a line on a Palm is not quite as bad as it would be on a laptop screen, either.

The Palm Portable Keyboard is built well, designed well, and a worthy addition to your Palm arsenal.

Summary: small size without sacrificing function
Review: This is a full sized key board which can be folded accordian style to a size just a little bigger then the Palm unit itself. It has a simple design, clicking onto the port on the bottom of the unit. It runs on the power of the unit, I havent really studied this or used it enough to say if this creates a huge drain on the unit itself. If you think that Graffiti is too slow then this is the product for you.

Summary: Increadable
Review: It's an increadabl product. Anyone I show it to asks how I can afford such a device. Everyone is amazed by it. Everyone wants to try it out. It's so James Bond like it's scary. I love it. I can't wait to go on vacation. What a great tool for on the plane. And it fits in my pocket.

Summary: Excellent...one of the best products EVER made!
Review: This thing is absolutely invaluable. Not only does it replace my bulky, slow laptop, but the keyboard is truly an engineering miracle. Everyone I show this to is impressed at how compact and useful it is. When folded, the keyboard is the same size and only a little thicker than my Palm Vx. When unfolded, the keys are the same size as on my laptop and work FLAWLESSLY! If you own a Palm, I strongly suggest you buy this AND a copy of Blue Nomad software's WORDSMITH and you'll have an MS Word compatible word processor at a fraction of the cost and bulk! Whether or not you plan on doing a lot of typing, I still suggest that you buy this since it makes a great conversation piece!

Summary: Worth every penny
Review: I hesistated a bit with collecting gadgets for my palm because of the never-ending-costs, but looking back i would say this is one i really need. I used my Palm Vx already a lot on the wards for reference (medical intern), but the keyboard in combination with the program Documents-to-Go made it as functional as a laptop too. Text entrance is a breeze, synching with Word-documents on my PC is easy as, and it folds away in a nice, nifty manner. This one comes highly recommended.
