Rating: Summary: I Agree With "Winterstone", Except... Review: ...it can be used with both the left and right hands.I am somewhat ambidextrous and have no trouble using this mouse with either one (actually, I'm a righty but for some reason I prefer using a mouse with my left hand). I can now move the mouse to my right (where there is another desk) and scroll & click while I'm checking a document or notes and then move back again to my left. I can't believe how wonderful an un-tethered mouse can feel!
Rating: Summary: Use a white mouse pad or paper (batteries will last longer) Review: I like this mouse overall. One problem I had at first was that it eats up batteries like crazy (every 2 weeks ot so). Logitech support helped - they sugggested to use this mouse on a white surface (a white paper sheet or white mouse pad). That did the trick, now I get 2-3 months battery life. This makes sense, basically the mouse lights up in the dark (or, when it is on a dark desk).
Rating: Summary: a good battery monster Review: This really is a great mouse, set up is easy, precision is great works with pc/mac, but it eats up batteries like crazy. I also have a cordless keyboard that I have been enjoying for more than 2 years; I had to change the batteries only twice. The mouse I have only been using about 10 months and have changed my batteries already 6 times. The issue is that the optical part is on even if the computer is turned off. Therefore eating up the batteries even when not used. <...
Rating: Summary: Easy setup, works great Review: Look, its a mouse. All you want it to do is be easy to set up and easy to use. This product is both, and it looks cool too.
Rating: Summary: Great Product Review: I have used the mouse for about six months now on my new apple i-mac, with no problems. Just wanted to let mac users know that it works great with OS X.
Rating: Summary: Logitech customer service poisoned me for life. Review: I really, really wanted my logitech mouse to work. They failed to produce Mac OS X drivers for months, and their support staff was aggressively rude. On the other hand, the day Kensington announced Mac OS X drivers, I canned my Logitech and never looked back. Their support is awesome, always has been, I made a comment on the registration page and got two emails from the product manager and a VP asking for more details about a suggestion I made. Which they implemented... Never, ever buy any Logitech product if a Kensington one is available.
Rating: Summary: cool mouse Review: This is a very good cordless mouse. Even since i had it, it gives me lots of freedom and no annoying feelings when you use those wheel + wired mouse. It comes with a very creative and comfortable shape. Its Back button on the side is very very useful to me (i wish it also had a Forward). anyway, i'd say the only drawback of this product is probably that its battery runs out a bit too fast...probably in 2 months.
Rating: Summary: They Finally Got It Right! Review: My first "cordless mouse" was useless. Such a new tecnology it was riddled with problems, required too much fussing with, and was returned within 2 days. I was hesitant to go down that road again, but I trust Logitech. The price here at Amazon is the best by the way. It installed itself with no problems whatsoever. The old Logitech mouse software was automatically taken care of with the new Logitech software. Not one bump. I'm using Win98 SE on a laptop. They really have it down now! This thing works great. I can set it next to me on the sofa so that it's totally blocked from the receiver, and it works perfectly. The scroll wheel is awesome - I didn't think I'd care about it, but it's the best thing since sliced bread. Fully programmable buttons, a thumb button that is impossible to click by accident - nice - over all: A great mouse, installs itself, works beautifull, and doesn't chew through batteries at all in my opinion. This is the mouse you want.
Rating: Summary: Good for what it is, but what about DIFFERENT SIZES for once Review: This is a good wireless optical mouse, although it occasionally glitches. It has some lag, but with the settings dialed in, that should not be too noticeable. This mouse will work under NT (with the serial adapter...the MICROSOFT mouse won't even do that!!) and 2000. I get a range of >10' in my office. I use it at work constantly, and get about a month out of a pair of AA batteries. My main problem lies in its shape and size. Sure it looks ergonomic, but if you are like me (6'1") with big hands...this mouse is a little narrow. You'll find your wrist contorting and putting a lot of pressure on the heel of your hand. WHY CAN'T MOUSE MAKERS FIGURE OUT THAT PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT SIZED HANDS? The least they could do would be to make the thing with different sized shells....until then, no mouse deserves 5 stars.
Rating: Summary: Battery eater Review: Ok, I've read the reviews and I even own two of these mice and I love them. However I just thought everyone should know that if you use it a lot, this mouse SWALLOWS batteries (double A). Three months?? more like 3 weeks...
