Summary: I Finally Gave Up
Review: At first: 1) I couldn't get the tilt wheel to work and 2) couldn't control my movements between web pages despite how I adjusted the sensitivity. After a couple of days, I started having to re-boot the computer 4-5 times before the mouse would connect. Finally uninstalled the software and went back to my faithful old Logitech. Still had problems with the computer locking on initial start-up each day until I executed a "System Restore" from immediately prior to changing over the the Intellimouse. Now I'm back to my old system configuation and everything is working just fine again.

Summary: Won't connect, Flimsy tilt, Short battery life, CHEAP leathe
Review: Don't get this product! I returned one already.

1. Won't connect
Mouse didn't work out box. Had to return to get another one. What a hassle. I wonder how long this mouse will last.

2. Flimsy tilt
What a lousy and flimsy design... How often does one use side scroll anyway? In any case, to use it takes large amount of finger extension and force. Lousy gimmick at best. And I miss the scroll with "click" as smooth scroll doesn't feel "right".

3. 6 month battery life?

Now that's a LIE! The damn Intellipoint software keeps on reminding me after 2 months that I need to change the battery and I used it only at home. I wish I got the Logi with built-in charger.

4. Leather mouse?
No it doesn't feel or smell like it so why LIE? It's vinyl material. I paid huge premium for it and it looks really cheesy with wide gaps on bottom like cheap leather purse (at least you don't see this kind of cheap contruction on cheap leather products).

Finally, I wish I bought the Logi with 600 dpi and recharger instead. I tried one and regret this terrible unreliable piece of trash.

Summary: The best mouse I've ever owned/used
Review: Great job Microsoft! This mouse is extremely easy to set up and use. Just install the software make a couple of connections and in a few minutes you're up and running like never before. Performance-wise you just can't beat it. It's extremely precise and the shape feels so good in my hand. Buttons are simple to program. If you're in the market for a wireless keyboard, as well, I highly recomend the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Elite Keyboard and Mouse, which is the same mouse included with an awesome keyboard. I have the set. My partner kept wanting to borrow my Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer with Tilt Wheel, so I'm here buying one for him for his birthday today. Buy it. You won't be sorry!

Summary: Bought it for my laptop
Review: I bought it for my new laptop and it works great. I really enjoy using the tilt-wheel. They've done a great job on this mouse. It feels nice in your hands and has a good battery life. I use it for my laptop so the wireless base is a bit on the big side but at least it's light. I would have gotten the bluetooth version had they included the tilt-wheel feature.

Summary: Disappointed
Review: I bought this mouse because of its physical look (very attractive) and the advertised 3x longer battery life. In the end, I decided not to keep it. The shape and size of the mouse make it so uncomfortable to hold; my wrist and my hand hurt so much after a day of use. I thought that it needs a little time to get used to, but after a few days, I simply gave up. Therefore, before deciding on this mouse, make sure you try it first as it may not be for everyone.

UPDATE: I have tried some other mice like the Logitech Cordless Click! Plus and the MX700. I didn't like the way they fit in my hand either because of the rather weird shapes. In the end, I am settled with the Logitech 2x wireless mouse. It does not have two extra buttons like the others but is so comfortable to the hand. I just love the mouse. Sometimes, less means more (the mouse is only $29.95 MSRP)...

Summary: Best mouse on the market
Review: I do not know what the others are talking about. It was easy set up, can program all 5 buttons. Works flawless. Was able to pick up 2 of these on Amazon for half off, wow.

Summary: Great wireless mouse
Review: I was hesitant in buying another Wireless Mouse. Because my old Wireless Optical Blue Mouse one was constantly losing the conection to the reciver. But I spotted this one on sale and decided to give it a try. I must say it is much better than my old Blue one. It fits better in my hand and wheel movement is much smoother and quiet. Love the side to side motion but don't see to many time I need to. Can't give it 5 stars because I don't know this is the best. The optical is much more accurate than the old ball mouse. Never mind no skipping. Hope the battery life is as good as they claim.

Summary: It hurt my wrist...
Review: I'll have to return the mouse! I bought it because it has the "ergonomic" design. But I only used it for 2 hours before my wrist start hurting. I think the bottons are positioned too high. Also, the two side bottons are too far for my thumb to reach. I believe the mouse is designed for men with big hands. Not a good choice for women.

Summary: Rating the Microsoft M03-00035--Wireless Intellimouse
Review: Is a top quality product--excellent design and exceptionally well made. Everything worked as advertised, the first time, right out of the box. The action is smooth and very quiet. If you can read, you can set this thing a racing!

Summary: awesome mouse
Review: It is the best mouse i've ever used. Especially the wheel, very smooth. My roommate has a logitech wireless mouse, whose wheel is less smooth as fast than this one. I always thought logitech is the best brand for mouse and keyborad. Now I will never consider logitech. Microsoft is much better than Logitech.
