Summary: WOW ITS BEEN ONLY...... ONE MONTH?
Review: If your a hardcore gamer, i would not recommend this mouse. After a month of intensive training in CS Source, the MX310 stoped working properly. The LED turns on and off, jamming your curser every 5 seconds, making it EXTREMELY ANNOYing to use my computer in general. What i really dislike is the "Technical Service." They give a number that doesn't work and that most likly is located in India. Never again Logitch, im sticking with Microsoft.

Summary: great mouse for Mac OSX
Review: It's no longer a tragedy that the Mac only comes with a pathetic one-button mouse. If it came with a two-button one, it probably wouldn't be as good as this one anyway. For less than $30, you could be right-clicking, scrolling, and customizing other buttons with this baby! Nice and smooth, good feel to the buttons. Oh, it's probably good for PC's too.

Summary: A quality product that delivers
Review: Just like one of the previous reviewers, I had a MS IntelliMouse and didn't think I could ever find another that I liked as much, in spite of it's occasional nasty little habit of flipping out on me, which meant I had to reboot, and then it would be fine. Looking back, I don't know how I put up with it for so long. One of the reason I love this mouse so much is because I have a small hand (size 5 glove if that helps you) and it fits perfectly in my hand. Very comfortable to use and I'm at it for ten, twelve hours a day. The back and forward button placement is superior to the MS mouse and much more solid and responsive. I use the scrolling wheel constantly for my particular work. The quick switch program selector button is incredible and suits my work to a tee, as I usually manage to have at least ten windows at a time open. You just click the button and up pops a menu of every window you have open, and it's in nice big print. With my old mouse, I had to keep "reigning it in" but not with this one. Very little movement required to zero the cursor in on whatever. This is an overall excellent product and I'm now sold on this brand. I would say Logitech = quality.

Summary: Mouse makes it easy to be productive
Review: Logitech's leap towards enhancing the the fabrication of these "human interface devices" (as they are known by Windows XP) has become an ongoing legacy for their consumers. Their latest release in the mouse community is the new MX310. This mouse boasts the latest Logitech MX Optical Engine (present in all Logitech "MX" branded optical mousing devices). In addition these enhanced mice also contain a quick switch program selector, convenient internet navigation buttons (forward and backward), a high precision scroll wheel and it is designed for both right and left handed users. It sounds pretty well rounded, but is it up to snuff; will it stand up to the extreme user? (Full review @ bytesector.com)

Summary: A little smaller.
Review: Technically, the mouse works great so far. But compared to my Kensington Mouse-In-A-Box Optical Pro , it's a bit small for my hand. If I am in a posture where my hand is resting on the mouse, the heel of my palm is dragging on the mouse pad. With my arm extend more, that's less of a problem, but even then my thumb and little finger (nestled in the ergonomic grooves on the sides of the mouse) brush against the mouse pad if I'm not careful to move them a little higher.

Summary: Love it or hate it; not much middle ground
Review: The ergonomics on this mouse are either wonderful or terrible, depending upon how you hold it.
Wonderful: If you rest your hand on it with thumb and pinky finger resting in the side grooves, it feels fine. If your hand is the right size, this mouse becomes a semi-luxurious hand cradle.
Terrible: If you hold the mouse in pretty much any manner other than that described above, it's terrible. A sharp edge running down each side of the mouse catches at your joints in a manner that is at first just vaguely irritating, and eventually (after hours of use) distracting and uncomfortable.
Test drive this mouse on the display shelf at your local CompUSA/Best Buy/Office Depot/Whatever. Close your eyes and rest your hand on the mouse. If your hand instinctively molds to its surface, don't waste time looking at other mice. You've found your mouse, and you won't be disappointed.
If your hand does not immediately accept the position suggested by this mouse's design, move on and don't look back; you'll never get used to it.
Unfortunately for me, I fell into the latter category. After about 10 hours of continuous use at work, mine went back to the store. It's a shame, as this was otherwise a quality mouse.

Summary: Great for Gaming/Standard Use
Review: This mouse is the overall the "Best" mouse you can get. I put quotes around it because i know there are people out there where they buy like these 200 dollar mice and its like totally awesome, but if your using this just for like regular computer use it is the best and cheapest one you will get. And i suggest that you dont buy L0giteCh products thats under the price of 50 dollars cause i have a wireless keyboard and mice from l0gitech and although it was "Smooth" and "Easy to operate" the ball would get dirty really fast so your mouse would studder and once in awhile the keyboard and mice would lose connection to the reciever(especially if you have a sucky comp). <br />*********************NOTE_NOTE_NOTE********** *****************<br /><br />For all you gamers out there this mouse gives you awesome quality! it has everything you need from the scroller to MOUSE3.<br />Ive tested this mouse for Counter-Strike, Starcraft, Warcraft,and SIMS. Review: Two weeks ago, I bought my first optical mouse - a Microsoft "Optical Mouse Blue". Unfortunatley I soon learned about optical "jitter". I was unable to get smooth movements for small movement involving editing of digital photos, etc.So I replaced it with the MX310. Yes, this is the way it should be - small movements are smooth - like my old ball mouse used to be. It seems to glide across the pad easier than the Microsoft. And I was able to keep my old comfortable mouse pad - that I didn't want to give up for a new pad designed for optical mice.
