Summary: Mac OSX trouble?
Review: It's not the it doesn't have great potential. It does. And when it all works, it's the greatest.
I'm assuming that my trouble has come with the drivers that Logitech has supplied (I've had to download more recent versions from their site twice already - so I know they're working on it). Nevertheless, it's not all there yet. Every once and a while, the only thing the works on the keyboard are the letters and numbers, and the customized keys seem to become totally confused and forget what they're supposed to do (if they work at all), the mouse buttons do not function (or become the equivalent of double clicking for some reason).
I've had to keep my Mac keyboard and mouse plugged into another USB port, and regularly have to unplug and replug the Logitech keyboard/mouse USB cable in (which resets it, and usually fixes the problems).
I'm optimistic that they will fix these problems, as they've already updated the driver twice in 3 months, and they're a great company. Still... Just thought you Mac users might like to know. Incidentally, there is no conflict with the Mac keyboard I keep plugged in. That's not what causes the problems, I've tried everything. Good luck!

Review: I paid premium dollar for my keyboard and feel it is worth every penny. I've had numerous keyboards and none as easy and fun to use as the Elite combo.I'd recomend it anyone. Just a great product.

Summary: Not worth it
Review: I wanted to really like this product, it looked great and I did buy it, unfortunately it's not worth it. First of all I didn't like the directions, they should have been more clear. I have windows xp (home edition) and I just had a lot of problems with it. The mouse wouldn't work at all, and then when it did work, the keyboard would just stop working, instead. I even went out and bought new batteries thinking that maybe it was low on that and that wasn't it. It was the darn keyboard! I finally got so sick of this keyboard not working at all, so I went out and bought a new wireless keyboard and mouse combo. I got the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro and it works very well, it was much more easy to set up, and both the keyboard and mouse work much better. It takes a while getting used to the angular keyboard but I like it so much better than the Logitech one.

Ths keyboard and mouse "Duo" do xactly what a cordless keyboard and mouse should do; work flawlessly right out of the box. Yes this is the best add on you could buy if you need and desire working range from your computer screen. I even went to the computer shop for a "hands on" demo of this product, and this is the best buy. Get yours today!

Summary: WATCH OUT -- TROUBLE!!!
Review: I always check out rating before buying anything. Sometimes they are not always accurate or complete....
I purchased this hoping that it would make my life easier. Well it did just the opposite. The Logitech supplied drivers are simply a poor excuse for software. The reason I say this is because when you install the iTouch or MouseWare software, it overwrites your standard Microsoft PS/2 driver and disables other functions that are necessary for using a non-Logitech PS/2 device. What this means is that once you load this software, no other PS/2 devices other than Logitechs will work. I have a laptop when I undocked it, my built in mouse, PS/2 mouse port and keyboard were all shut down. The only way you can repair this is by having a highly skilled MCSE professional at your side to guide you through a 2 hour recovery. Logitech's support team tried to say that it wasn't their software that did this, download a driver update (didn't make a difference) or that I need to go through this complicated procedure and reload my computer with the windows software that originally came on my machine (Microsfot Knowledge Base Article 256233), therefore meaning that I had to reload all my drivers from when I first got the computer. I tried this on both Windows 2000 and XP and unistalling the SW doesn't make a difference. I was without my PC for days because of this. The keyboard and mouse will work fine if you do not install the drivers, but that takes away from the nice features the keyboard offers??? Much more trouble than it is worth. Unless you plan to only use Logitechs peripherals -- STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. Buy a Microsoft version -- at least you know it will be compatible.

Summary: Easy installation, Great performance
Review: This was by far, the easiest installation of a computer accessory that I have ever experienced. Out of the box, plug in the receiver, put batteries in the mouse and keyboard, press three buttons, and BAM! it's working. I did expect there to be some lag from the mouse (after all, it is wireless), but was elated to find that it works as well as my corded mouse ever did. This is a great product!

Review: This is great for work. Keyboard and mouse were a snap to install. worked like a charm in a couple of minutes. All hot-keys work well for the Web. I can get rid of my "wired" remote control for my speakers. This is a great buy for anyone considering it. Worth every penny and good quality. Easy to use!!

Review: I bought this package to replace an old trackball mouse. I didn't really need the keyboard, but decided on the combo anyway; I was pleasantly surprised at how convenient the enhanced keyboard is! The mouse works well (as expected) and the color of both keyboard and mouse looks really sharp (black with silver accents). KEYBOARD: pros:
enhanced buttons are great (ex: jog dial to control volume, scroll wheel to scroll up and down when browsing webpages (like the scroll wheel on the mouse)); the keys have a soft feel to them so typing is more comfortable than on a conventional keyboard (quieter too); flat design is nice when typing with the keyboard in your lap; no cords! - I find myself typing in bed and in more relaxing positions more. cons:
uses 2 AA batteries (although I haven't needed to replace them yet and I've been using it for about a month now); software (apparently they haven't worked out all the kinks in their software (I'm running WinXP Pro), so every now and then the enhanced buttons don't work (it's not that big of a deal - all the normal keyboard keys still work when this happens)). MOUSE: pros:
nice shape, fits in your hand nicely (if you're right handed) - it's the same shape as the logitech cordless optical mouse; optical sensor works well and allows you to use the mouse easily on many surfaces (including your bed); scroll wheel makes browsing webpages easier: just roll the wheel up or down; a third button (on the left side - for the thumb) can be programmed to do several things (ex: close your current program, go back to the previous webpage, etc.) cons:
only really comfortable for the right hand; optical sensor won't work on "highly reflective surfaces" (apparently the finish on my desk is too shiny so the mouse doesn't track reliably on it), so you may have to use a mousepad, requires batteries (same deal as with the keyboard); can get lost (if you're disorganized and lose stuff around your desk, you might have to spend time now searching for your mouse as well)
