Rating: Summary: Logitech's greatest keyboard and mouse combo Review: At under $50 this keyboard and mouse is great! Logitech has came out with a new combo (the MX duo) which made them lower this sets price. I bought one and liked it so much I boght a second one! the have there pros and cons. One thing I didnt like was the palm rest for the keyboard is very unconforatble and the keyboard doesnt have much of a tilt to it. Other then that, I love this keyboard. The mouse is also great, I love the back button and the way it fits your hand, if you plan to use it left handed though, it wouldnt work so great. Im right handed so that doesnt effect me. Windows picked the set up so I still havent installed the software. Im having no problems without it. The media buttons and back button on the mouse are by far my favorate things. The MX duo would have been great to have but it was more power then I need. This set is great for all right handed general computer users. Though if your really into gaming, I would advise you to buy the MX duo.
Rating: Summary: Great wireless combo!! Review: I've used this combo now for about 1 year. It has worked flawlessly and perfectly the whole time. I get constant updates from Logitech on the software, and it has allways performed perfectly even from 10 feet away. The keyboard is very quiet and comfortable, and the mouse feels very good. The mouse is slightly heavier than a wired mouse, but it has batteries in it. I bought some rechargable batteries and have only replaced them once in the keyboard, 3 times in the mouse. We have 5 users for the computer so it gets alot of use every day. The software notifies you when the batteries are low so they don't go dead while you are in the middle of something. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat!
Rating: Summary: Don't buy if you plan on connecting USB to hub Review: If you plan on using this Keyboard with a USB Hub, even self-powered, do not purchase this item. I have tried both the Belkin 7 port and Aten Technologies 4 Port Hub and the mouse does not work. Called Logitech Technical Support and their recommendation was that I return it as it is not recommended for use with a Hub. Unfortunately, no documentation on their web site or guidelines defines this as a problem. Furthermore, I have a laptop with only 1 PS/2 port and 1 USB port, but the Keyboard and mouse require 2 PS/2 ports. USB PCMCIA is not an option as those available are too bulky with my Wireless or LAN card.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: This is an outstanding combination wireless keyboard and mouse. Never had a single problem with either. Battery life for the keyboard is about once every 8-10 months or so (being used about 2 hours/day, 7 days/week). Mouse batteries typically last about 6 months, so long as you use decent alkalines. Not sure why some are not pleased with the mouse. Yes, it's an odd design, but I got used to it quickly, and now I can't stand NOT using it! Button placement is fine, though I do have fairly large hands.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Duo! Review: As soon as I got my logitech wireless keyboard and mouse duo I plugged them into my computer and turned it on. Windows XP picked them right up and they worked immediately. They have worked wonderfully. The keyboard is very quiet which is a very nice feature! The mouse setup is great and so is the keyboard! I highly recommend this wireless keyboard and mouse duo! Totally worth the money!
Rating: Summary: the keyboard worth the money you paid Review: I liked the keyboard very much, it is the most comfortable keyboeard I ever used, and functional keys are very cool. However, the mouse [is bad], it is long, heavy and in a weird shape. the buttons are too small so that you need to bent your finger to an unatural angle to click it. And the thumb button is useless since you can never reach it. I know why people complain about battery life, this mouse is on all the time, even when your computer is shut down. And in my system (XP) the mouse only works when the receiver is connetected with USB, not PS/2. I guess the keyboard and mouse are designed by different people, I spent [item price] only for a good keyboard.
Rating: Summary: Superb performers Review: This cordless replacement of conventional keyboard and mouse is the best you can have. Top performance ( even from 12 feet away),no glitches, no wires. Both items are loaded with features and buttons that help in many tasks. The price is more than great. I have three sets at home and buying one as a gift to my sister. A hint : if you like to watch a DVD on your PC, use the mouse as your remote control from as far as 15 feet.
Rating: Summary: Never will go to cords again! Review: I have had this for about 4 months now, and I couldn't be more pleased. The batteries last a long time, especially the keyboard (use rechargeables). I believe the keyboard lasts about 2 months and the mouse about 2-3 weeks, each with a pair of AA's. There is no lag when I play games such as Morrowind. I type about 30 - 40 words per minute (not much, I know) and there is no lag in the keyboard as well. It's great to use as a remote if you want to sit back and watch a movie on the computer. Overall, I love the less cluttered look, and it has worked perfectly for all I have used it for.
Rating: Summary: Good concept but poorly made Review: This was a gift for "the man who has everything". Great idea and he loved it... Until the mouse stopped working about 2 months after he got it. So now we have a wireless keyboard and our old standard wired mouse. I won't be buying Logitech again.
Rating: Summary: Works about 1/2 of the time - zero support from logitech Review: I have windows XP and a dell Precision 450. When I boot up, I get to the login screen. I mouse over to my user, type in my password - no problem. Both the keyboard and mouse work fine. When the computer logs me in, however, about half the time the mouse won't work. I found that the solution is to unplug the wireless base station and plug it back in. That's not what I signed up for. I have contacted logitech about this numerous times and they do not even respond. All I want is my money back.
