Summary: DYNOMITE MOUSE FOR ALL APPLICATIONS!
Review:
Several weeks ago my mechanical/ball mouse bit the dust. My son is a computer software engineer and he recommended that I buy an optical mouse to replace it. I did a lot of research at the computer geek web sites and the Logitech MX 510 scored very hi marks.
I ordered the blue one from Amazon. I have been using it a couple weeks now and I think it's by far the best mouse I have owned.

I am using Window's XP Professional and installation of the drives from the included CD went without a hitch. Should updated driver become available Logitech web site will have them to download. I love the cruise control when viewing long documents. Fast net navigation buttons and quick switch program selector are also very useful. Now let me tell you how to make this mouse even better.

I have never purchase a mouse pad before, son has always furnished those for me. Several reviewers at geek web sites said that this mouse in combination with the Func 1030 mouse pad gave stellar performance. I am a retired professional photographer and I do a lot of dust & scratch removal when I "scan in" my photographs to the computer. It has always been frustrating to place the pointer exactly in the right spot; not any more.
The Func 1030 mouse pad is the best twenty bucks I have spent in a long time and Amazon sells it to. Please see my review of this fantastic mouse pad. The MX 510 mouse and Func pad are the best up grades I have ever made to a PC. Buy this mouse & the Func mouse pad; you will be happy and not out a lot of money!

Summary: BEST MOUSE EVER
Review: I first heard about this mouse on the old Screen Savers, the San Francisco cast; Down with Comcast Viva La TechTV! But any way I purchased this mouse after my Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 took a dumb on me. I could not be happier; this mouse rocks. It fits almost as comfortably as the Intellimouse. There are a lot of cool button settings you can play around with, but the ones out of the box are nice. The sensitivity of this mouse is amazing, and looks are just stunning. It is odd that there are an odd number of feet but I don't see what the other reviewers are complaining about, it feels nice and level. This is a must have mouse for anyone even remotely serious about any form of computer gaming; it even works on Mac. My only question is why does the red model cost $7 less then the blue one??

Summary: Nice look, but thats about it
Review: I bought this mouse. I read what others posted about it, and bought myself one too.But this is not as good as one would think. First off, their are some reach flaws in it. The 2 buttons to the far left,on the side are not too easy to reach your fingers to.

The next thing I hated about it was that their is this bump on the right site of it, I dont have a clue as to what its for,but I annoning as anything.I could not stand so much, that I filed it down. 3ed off, the bottom mouse pad touch areas are not well done. So if you have a heavy hand, like myself, it tends to catch on the mouse pad.

Other than that, the mouse looks nice, I'll give it that. And their are some neat button settings you can toy with. But all in all, I did not like this mouse. I found it just too hard to deal with.

Summary: Fantastic mouse!
Review: I can't believe no one else has reviewed this mouse yet! I purchased the blue mouse, because well, blue is my favorite color. The MX 510 is fantastic- I love the placement of the buttons, and the auto-scroll buttons are especially handy in those situations where you have a very long document and the wheel button is too annoying to use.

The paint job on this mouse is amazing- overall, the mouse is surprisingly large, but it's comfortable and fits my hand well. Great buy!

Summary: Best mouse Ive ever owned ! ! !
Review: I love My keyboard commands but a mouse comes in handy when needed. I use to be content with a plain old ball mouse but decided to get Myself a gift and got this... all I can say is WOW !!!

Not only has one ov the classiest looks Ive ever seen but its super comfortable and extreamly smooth to use. I will never own another mouse, and if this one wears out, Im getting an identical one exactly like this one, also got the logitec elite keyboard too which is great but this review is not for it, but wanted to say they make a perfect pair together and more then well worth the money =)

I was also very shocked and surprised to see My logitec mouse works great with My Linux. Just plugged right up and fired away, also works excellent and totally compatable with My kvm switches for My servers network which I did think would be a problem thinking at first this was more a 'gamers' mouse, but its perfect for net admin, Linux and programmers along with gamers alike...

If your into the ease with fast buttons this mouse is for you as well with a solid scroll wheel, pg up and pg dn buttons, and an earlier review here someone disliked the side buttons for page forward and backward, I dont know, maybe its to much an inconveniance for them to lift their thumb up .5mm's to click it but Ive found it to be a perfect mouse, just flawless in all aspects and also well made too. The construction unlike most mouse, this is not flimsy, its pretty solid...

Do yourself a favore and treat yourself to a gift that will last a LONG time :)

Enjoy!

Summary: Best mouse of its kind
Review: I've used several optical mice over the years, and this one beats them all. The buttons are all programmable and while the software doesn't let you configure the buttons/acceleration/speed to the extent that Kensington does, the shape of the mouse is very comfortable (for righties only). If you want a symmetric mouse or more programmability try Kensington's mice.

Summary: Great Mouse -- Highly Recommended
Review: The mouse is great. The cruise scrolling is an excellent feature. I had to return my first mouse due to a scroll wheel problem, and Logitech shipped me a new mouse with no problems. Very satisfied. I also bought the fUnc sUrface 1030 mouse pad to go along with this mouse and recommend it as well. By the way, I'm a professional computer programmer and spend hours a day on the computer.

Summary: It's good! Very good!
Review: This is an excellent mouse. It's a must have if your into FPS games or graphic design. The mouse is extremely precise, and lightweight for a mouse of this size. No lag, like my previous cordless mouse. It has upped my frag count in Unreal & BFV. The only complaints I have is that the wheel is a little more recessed then I'm used to and the top is too smooth. I would prefered a little more texture for gripping. But these things are minor. It looks cool and feels even better. So far the software installs & works fine. 2 thumbs up!

UPDATE 10/26/04

I've had this mouse for a few weeks now. It still performs flawlessly. I notice though that the mouse feet aren't very good. They are uneven and not of the best quality, but they get the job done. This mouse works awesome with the Func 1030 Surface mousepad. Will really increase your frags!

Summary: Nice Mice
Review: This mouse is one of the best I've used in terms of comfortability and sensitivity. I didn't install the drivers on the CD (I really don't like having another driver eat up RAM), but the mouse worked flawlessly upon plugging it in a Windows XP box.

The only problem I see is the slightly uneven mouse feet at the bottom.
