Summary: very good keyboard
Review: I use this to take notes in class and it has worked very well. It is actually quieter than most notebook keyboards and more like a standard keyboard in the way it feels. You can make it almost completely silent if you place a magazine under it. The space bar is split into two keys, which took me a little while to get used to because my thumb is used to hitting the space bar right where the split is. Of course, the FN keys are also missing, but I haven't needed to use those for years anyways.

It folds and unfolds easily and quickly. Its very sturdily build and of high quality. The little wire and plastic flipout that props up the journada seems flimsy at first, but I've had no problem what so ever with it. One minor drawback is that you do need a flat surface to make it work. You can't use it on your lap. Other than that, this is just like using a full-sized keyboard except that you can fold it up and put it in your pocket!

Summary: Word Processing with Your Visor Is Possible
Review: This piece of hardware works great for wordprocessing, especially with the BlueNomad software WordSmith. I used to have a laptop and now having this device accessible, I may never go back. I have experienced no problem using it. Easy fit.

Summary: Ran into problems - battery drain
Review: I loved the keyboard but could not get it to work properly, inspite of working with Targus Tech Support for months. Once I started to use the keyboard, the batteries would drain very quickly (about 2 days). Targus says its a problem with some of the older Visor Delux models.

Summary: Great for School
Review: I use my Handspring Visor and Stowaway portable keyboard everyday in school. I use the to do list and the datebook to keep track of all of the homework and assignments that are due. I then use the memo pad to get a head start on writing my essays or reports. Sometimes I'm already done with my work while other kids are still about half to three quarters done with the same assignment. Need to print something out? No problem, I just go home, hot-sync it, copy paste it into Word and make the neccesary changes. When I'm done I just print it out. Everybody else that wants to type out their report has to go home and then retype what they already handwrote. The portable keyboard was a life saver. Now I can spend half the effort and get twice the work done. I couldn't live a day without it.

Summary: This is a Good Thing
Review: Thanks to my Stowaway and a few downloads, I have the power of a small computer in the space of a large paperback novel. The Stowaway is the best thing to happen to the Visor since...well, since the Visor came out. I've had my Visor since Christmas 1999, and for the better part of a year it was little more than an extremely expensive calculator/psuedo Gameboy. When these keyboards appeared, I put it on my wish list and Santa came through. Combined with the WordSmith program (on PalmGear.com -- go get it), this is the single handiest word processor I've ever used. Unlike the Powerbook I never want to lug around, this one goes with and is used. In the "gee-whiz" category, everyone who's seen it has commented on it, but no one has complained about keys clacking, because they don't. I highly recommend it, especially to the non-techie (like me) who just wants to get some writing done without all the schlepping and fuss.

Summary: Very very cool
Review: Great product. Very durable and works really well. Its about the same size as your Jornado (a little wider) and fits in your pocket easily. the main keyboard folds out quickly and the dock connector slides out and up to posistion the Jornado perfectly. Very James Bond. as for power consumption, I have not noticed any major drain. The Stowaway also comes with some additional features. Hotkeys that you can program to open 8 different functions. A windows style start key. A power plug in so you you can charge the jornado while typeing. All in all a very cool, very well thought out product. I recomend it highly.

Summary: GOOD FOR THE PRICE!
Review: I recently purchased this keyboard because I was tired of always having to use the Graffi style writing and found it quite difficult to master. This board is perfect as it is easy to carry anywere, the keys are full size so typing is not hard to do. Also it is very quiet. I would definately recomend this keyboard. Perfect for students and business men. Taking notes is a breaze with this board.

Summary: Fantastic
Review: An amazing piece of engineering. You'll find yourself folding and unfolding it just because it works so well. Lots of avaricious stares on airline flights... if the Visor had video out I'd never need a laptop again. Kind of a pain to attach the Visor to the keyboard, but I think that's a limitation of the Visor's design, not the Stowaway.

Summary: Absolutely amazing!
Review: I got my keyboard about four days ago and love it. This thing is amazing! The keys feel better than my PC keyboard and the size, when closed, is just slightly bigger than the visor. With this keyboard and peditPro, I don't need my laptop anymore!

The attachment portion to the visor is a bit strange, but after a couple of tries, I've got it down. So far, I love the keyboard and it works great, even on my lap. I am just afraid that durability may be a problem, but I will soon find out.

Summary: Only works with 500 series Jornadas!
Review: It seems like a nice keyboard, but just be sure you only have a 500 series Jornada. It will not work with anything else, even with extra drivers.
