Summary: Mouse jams if using two systems
Review: Both keyboard and mouse are good, however, I just got a second system to use with the computer in the room next door (the two systems are just separated by a thin wall) and the mice "jam" each other if used at the same time (move a mouse and both systems "freeze" on the screen, very annoying). I've followed the instructions on the logitech support site to reinstall the systems (take out batteries, press button on receiver for 15 secs., install one system, wait at least 20 mins., install the second system), but the problem doesn't go away. Contacted two service reps via e-mail over the past 10 days but they just re-sent the info that's available on the site. Very disappointing, I'm junking one system now.

Summary: SWEEEEEEEETTTTTTT
Review: Great product. I was somewhat weary that my configuration would not work with the package but I was wrong. I am using a 4-port Belkin switchbox, and when I toggle threw machines the keyboard and mouse doesn't miss a beat. Also I like the fact the mouse does not skip, like some others do. Another top-notch product from Logitech.

Review: I just got my Cordless iTouch keyboard and mouse this morning and I set it up right away. At first glance, I knew that setup was going to be a piece of cake. And it was! I can't believe I didn't have any trouble at all. Before I bought the product, I was kind of skeptical and cautious because my current keyboard is a HP multimedia keyboard which also has some customizable buttons in it. I was afraid that the software might conflict with my old one. However, after I connected the cordless keyboard and mouse on my PS/2 port, there was no problem...it worked right away. Changing the software was no problem at all.

I also tested the range of the product and it turned out to be pretty good. The receiver is currently surrounded by other electronics but it doesn't seem to cause it a lot of trouble.

Since I only got it this morning, I can't comment on the product's durability and/or dependability. But as far as I know, I recommend this product to anybody who likes to be free from cords.

Summary: Decent keyboard, worthless mouse
Review: I purchased the keyboard and mouse combo for use in the TV room/Den (My TV is my monitor). The coffee table is just barely in range of the unit's reciever. Issues I have had, if the key press is detected, but not the release, it will autorepeat. This can be highly annoying when trying to type a password. For some reason, it has worked great for the last two months though. The mouse? - it worked great for two weeks. After getting wrecked with crumbs, lint, and other items on the table, it is useless. (Even after cleaning). Currently I am using a regular mouse, with 15ft of cord. My recomendation for folks with computers in odd places, buy the keyboard, wait till they come out with an optical, and wireless mouse. Regular mouses are cheap enough to replace, and usually a little easier to clean. Maybe they will hook a wireless microphone to the keybaord also...

Summary: LOGITECH IS TOP QUALITY! GREAT ITEM !
Review: I received this at my door and what can I say but WOW! At first I thought this was just going to be another add-on but was I wrong, this is by far one of the best keyboard and mouse upgrade you can get! First thing I noticed was the expensive batteries that the package came with! The Utra Duracell's where included in the package to power up the keyboard and the mouse. The Keyboard was easy to install the two AA batteries, the mouse (takes 2 AAA batteries REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU BUY NEW BATTERIES! 2 AA and 2 AAA to replace both, I suggest getting Ni-mh rechargable batteries) may take a while to figure how to get the batteries in but with the added instructions is a breeze. So far as I type this review with the actual product, it has lasted me more than a month, and so far I have never had to replace the batteries. Next, the feel of typing, its wonderful! tactical feedback is perfect! I've had both Ibm and Dell keyboards for some time and just thinking that a third party keyboard like Logitech could out perform both amazes me! I thought Logitech only made great Mice but was a wrong! Other features on the keyboard that that I enjoy is of course the wireless portablity, having the keyboard on my lap is a big plus! I went to another room just to test it (100 feet) and the signals managed to drive into walls! Good Job Logitech! The keyboard has a smooth ergonomic groove to it, good style, and the extra MP3 buttons just top it off when I want to play winamp , also the mute button that controls the systems sound, and the standby poweroff button, the shortcut keys for internet surfing, how can you go wrong with this! And even more....ONSCREEN DISPLAY! Yes, just like my expensive big screen tv, the software logitech has once installed with show that cool green lettering so when you turn the volume up and down or use your shortcut keys (internet bookmark buttons) it will tell you via a green bar the level of your volume and also in WORDS tell you the shortcut site your going to. An example is I have one of my buttons preset for Microsoft Outlook, when you press the mail button on your keyboard, it loads up Outlook and displays in green lettering "MICROSOFT OUTLOOK", COOL! And how about the mouse? WONDERFUL! Logitech is known for making great mice! This mouse may be small and narrow but I have medium size hands so its perfect, and the scroll feature is smooth and easy to move with your "pointy finger" however if you have big hands It might be a problem. Its very hard to go wireless, just cause I still think I'm wired, but I can get used to this! and its a great item to show off to your family and friends not to mention the added mp3 buttons and internet shortcut buttons to show the gadgeteer in you. The only thing that confused me at first was the "warning some experts beleive keyboards cause serious...." engraved above the cursor keys, its very small but I dont need to have to read it everytime, if I wanted that I would have gone to the owners manual to read, also where are the 3 green lights for the caplocks, num locks, etc? oh ya, there on the screen monitor and take up space in the bottom right of your screen. Some great add ons is the color coded adaptors for easy plug in to almost any computer. Logitech is high quality and worth every penny!

Summary: The coolest thing on my desk!
Review: I'm one of those people that buys cool gadgets just for the 'coolness' factor. As soon as I saw this at my friend's dorm, I bought it, and I have been very pleased. Now, here are the Pros and Cons about this cordless set:

PROS:

1) I'm sure you know that it runs on Radio Frequency, which means you DON'T have to point it in a particular direction for it to work. In addition, the receiver is very small, and you can hide it anywhere around your desk.

2) The customizable buttons on the keyboard are amazing! (set your buttons to any webpage, program, or shortcut)

3) The Music Player buttons on the keyboard are really helpful. I relax on my bed and listen to music, and skip songs, or stop, etc.

4) So much maneuverability in terms of where you can put the mouse or keyboard, and you can rotate or change at anytime, no entanglements

5) No matter what others say, the battery life and reception is spectacular. I've had it for 6 months now, and still have not had to replace any batteries.

CONS:

1) This is just my opinion, but I think it would be better to get the cordless mouse and keyboard separately instead of in this package. This way, you'll get two separate receivers, and if you ever get a better replacement for one of them, you can still use the one you replaced at another computer or sell it.

2) My mouse had trouble with the scroll wheel, it would lock up after a bit, and not function. But then again, it just maybe because I have so many other peripherals (my friend's mouse works fine; he has the same product)

Everytime somebody comes into my room, they just stare for a moment and look for a cord, and then after they get over the shock, they ask if I really need it. And I answer with an emphatic "Yes" It's one of the best things I've ever purchased, and for the technology and convenience it offers, it is really cheap. It's a great purchase for students, professionals, as well as families.

Review: INSTALLATION After receiving my Logitech iTouch cordless keyboard and mouse, I opened the box, removed the documentation, and removed the mouse and keyboard. After installing the iTouch software, I rebooted my computer in order to finish the installation. Then, I easily connected the small radio transmitter to the mouse and keyboard ports in the back of my PC and inserted the two included AAA batteries in the cordless mouse and the two included AA batteries in the cordless keyboard. It was a nice touch for Logitech to provide the high-performance Duracell Ultra batteries. I was a little worried that I'd have problems with the keyboard because my old keyboard was a compaq that had some customized buttons of its own. I then pressed the "connect" button on the radio transmitter and my mouse instantly came to life. However, the keyboard didn't work. So, I re-seated the batteries and clicked on the little connect button on the side of the keyboard. It then worked just fine. For some reason though, the shutdown button on the keyboard that is supposed to bring up the Windows shutdown screen didn't do anything. So, I decided to reboot one more time. After the reboot, everything worked perfectly. I don't fault Logitech's software for the little fluke about having to reboot twice to get the shutdown button to work properly. Rather, given how customized my system is, I'm delighted at how easy the installation process was!

CONFIGURATION The configuration of the mouse and keyboard buttons couldn't be easier. The configurable buttons on the keyboard can be programmed to either go to a particular web site or launch a program. Everything was so self-explanatory and intuitively easy that I never had to crack open the user's guide once.

USE For starters, the keyboard and mouse use a radio signal instead of an infra-red beam. So, there are no alignment issues what so ever. The feel of the keyboard is absolutely perfect. I spend a lot of time on computers professionally and I'm very picky about the layout and "springiness" of keyboards that I use. The multimedia buttons and the customizable buttons are arranged in a logical manner and one very cool feature of the Logitech software is the on-screen display! When I turn the speaker volume down for example, a little green volume bar appears on the screen, showing me the volume level. When I press the e-mail button, green text with the name of my e-mail provider pops up on the screen. This is something you can enter when you type in the name of the application or web site while configuring your buttons. As for the mouse, it is one of the most comfortable mouses (or mice?) I've ever used. It works very smoothly and the ability move the mouse around without a cord attached is very liberating. Another plus is the mouse wheel. The mouse wheel on my old mouse had just a little too much resistance, which meant that my finger would often slip when I tried to turn it. The Logitec mouse wheel has just the right abount of resistance.

CONCLUSION Aside form the convenience of having a cordless keyboard and mouse, I must say I enjoy the looks on my friends faces when they come into my office and ask me what's wrong with my mouse. It's also fun to see the expressions on peoples faces when you take the keyboard into another room and start typing. To summarize, the Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard are easy to set up, a breeze to configure, and very fun to use! This is the first Logitech product I've purchased but it certainly won't be my last.
