i love it. the features are excellent.
everything is perfect except the keyboard is not in a curve shape, less comforting for your hands if you like to type a lot and the polling rate for the mouse is a bit slow.

Review: I use the Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse in my home studio. It was easy to setup and is great to move around from instrument to instrument without being tied down to the PC.The mouse uses optics to track it's movement so say goodbye to sticky mouse balls.

Review: If you're not a gamer, then get this product. They keyboard is very slim and it works great. If you ARE a gamer and are thinking about this product, please read on.
I bought this product because I wanted to control my comptuer from across the room, and the product definitely delivers what it is supposed to. The multi-media control works very well and lets me set the volume without having to touch my speakers or use my mouse. I've heard re-programming all the buttons isn't much fun, but I only use the email and Home one's.
But I bet you're wondering 1 or 2 things. First of all, 4 batteries for the keyboard and 2 for the mouse. How long will it last? Well, the keyboard lasts anywhere from 6-12 months, depending on how often you use it. The mouse on the other hand, only goes about 2-3 months, then it dies very abruptly. Yes, there are power levels, but they're only in vague words.... so it doesn't help very much.
And the second question you're asking is just how well does it perform. Let's start with the keyboard. Normally, the keyboard works fine, just like any other keyboard, but if you want to make sure you're keystrokes aren't being picked up at some frequency and logged (most likely.......they're not), but you have the option of encrpyting everything you send. This does take a toll on the response time though, but nothing drastic. I can still play CS or SC with hotkeys and bindings all intact.
But the big problem comes with the mouse. Your average PS/2 mouse is sampled at something like 40 Mhz in Win98/Me and 60 Mhz in Win2k/NT/XP. You can also tweak it up a bit too. Your average USB mouse runs at 125 Mhz, and while some gamers do go crazy and pump it up to 200 Mhz, most people can't tell the difference.
So what about this mouse? Well the limiting factor is the definitely communication rate between the mouse and the receiver. Thus, through some tests, it clocks in about an average of 50 Mhz. So yes, taking aim in CS will be much more difficult (stats courtesy of dansdata.com).
Personally, I have a USB port in the front of my computer, so I switch to my mouse when I need to be far away, then switch back to a optical USB mouse when I'm gaming.
Oh, and one more thing. If you're comparing optical cordless mice, and you're thinking about the MS Wireless Intellimouse, it's sampling rate is something like 35 Mhz. Pretty sluggish even for a non-gamer....

Summary: Mouse without a tail
Review: It's probably the best designed keybord and mouse I've had in many years -- Logitech indeed makes the best for us, trying hard to fix the damage to your arm's, back, neck, etc. And the freedom it gives to perform on the pc-screen witout getting longer and longer arms becaouse of the cord's (which don't exist here) is well worth the extra money. Without doubt the best on the market.

Summary: Not as great as everyone says it is..
Review: Yeah, well at first I was excited about the keyoard, the way it looked and the fact that it was wireless, but I have had problems from day one. The batteries last ok, and the set up was not very difficult, but there is a sequence of keys that causes the Logitech website to pop up in the middle of your work causing you to lose EVERYTHING> I used to type really fast ans when I made a mistake I would go back and fix just as fast, but without knowing the sequence of keys that causes this problem, I have to be super careful and type at snails pace. It's not the keys that are used to set up your internet keys, it's soome other way ... It's happende during long e-mails ...,gone..buying products at checkout..gone..it really [is frustrating].

Summary: Good product, but could have been better
Review: I love the cordless capabilities of this set. The range is great, the keys are quiet, and the mouse is very accurate on the screen (even in first-person shooters for those gamers out there). However, I wouldn't recommend this keyboard for the price (100 i believe) for several reasons: 1. The battery life in the mouse is terrible. My batteries need replaced once a month. The keyboard has been running fine on the batteries it came with for almost 5 months now. 2. The letters on the keyboard are applied very cheaply. They will nearly wear off on the keys that you use the most. 3. Somehow one of the tabs that holds the palm rest to the keyboard broke. This isn't a big deal though, the palm rest still stays on. 4. Minor detail-media key doesn't work with the newest winamp version. I just programmed one of the logitech web site keys to open winamp (who keeps these at the default anyway?? like i want to use a logitech page as my search engine = P The battery life is my main issue. It adds to the cost considerably (I tried rechargeable nickel metal hydrides, but they didn't seem to last as long as regular alkalines). Other than that, the keyboard is most likely a huge step up from whatever keyboard your computer came with. Hot keys are very useful, I even use the scroll wheel on the keyboard frequently. There are no lights on the keyboard to tell you if caps lock, numberlock, etc are on, but it shows up in your task bar, so it's easy to keep track of that.
Other than the battery problems of the mouse, the mouse itself is very nice, and fits comfortably in your hand (if you are right handed, that is)

Summary: Great Mouse & Quick Death Keyboard
Review: Hard to review the keyboard, it only lasted 3 days before simply stopping working. However, during its brief life it convinced me that I hate white on black keys so I have not bothered with it. The cordless part of the keyboard is for me almost irrelevant.
Mouse is another matter. Freedom is not having to drag a mouse tail around. Mouse alone is worth the purchase price. I would like 1 extra key, but that is minor.
Do not expect to get any tech support; there is no way to interact except to download drivers.

Summary: Awesome kit, by far the best I've seen
Review: Easy to setup...I had them up and running in 1 minute.
The keyboard is very well designed, so's the mouse.
They also work great with the Belkin KMV switches of all types.
My recommendation is getting NiM Hydride batteries, for they last pretty longer than conventional alkaline. Some gotcha's to watch out:
-No "Numlock", "CapsLock", or "Scroll Lock" indicators on keyboard, but driver has the indicators on taskbar once installed.
-Media function does not support Winamp 2.79 or greator yet....

Summary: annoying mouse wheel
Review: takes 2-3 clicks before the page starts scrolling and when it does start scrolling it does it in a choppy way. not smooth. switching direction on the wheel means that the page scrolls in the direction it was previously going first and then it goes in the direction you want it to go. very annoying.

Review: everything worked fine and was according to expectation except for the mouse wheel. without fail it takes 2-3 clicks before the page starts scrolling and when it finally moves it goes several clicks at a time then pauses, then moves again. also if i change direction on the wheel, the page scrolls 1 click in the direction it was PREVIOUSLY moving then scrolls in the diretion you want it to go. VERY VERY ANNOYING when i think about how i paid how much money for this and i have a perfectly good mouse sitting in my closet. i may have to recommend people to wait for them get the kinks out before picking this up.
