Summary: Out of the Box Nightmare
Review: For installation documentation Logictech includes a pamphlet with about 6 lines of instructions. I followed their directions and the mouse doesn't work. Their troubleshooting documentation is on their cd if you can get to it without the mouse. Their Support response time is two days, if you can open your email without a mouse. I'll probably have it returned by the time I get a response.

Summary: The Wireless Wonder
Review: This logitech combo is great, love it, i got one at home after having such great success with it at work. A lot of people complain about the battery life/strength, BUT if you run the mouse on a solid colored mouse pad that is also light in color it will increase the battery life by at least 4X-5X. This really works, we tried this with the ones at work, it allows the laser light to rest more, i.e. to go into sleep mode when not in use.

Review: This is the best keyboard & mouse I have ever owned! The batteries last just as long as they said they would. The mouse lasted 6 Months before I changed them & 1 year before I changed the keyboards!! And I am serious gamer & I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a wireless keyboard. By the way I am a lefty and this keyboard and mouse works great.

Summary: Another great bargain from Logitech
Review: I have had this product for over 3 months now, and I continue to love it. It is easy to set up and start working with. I read in another review that it is bad for gaming. Duh!! It's not meant for gaming. I have only positive things to say about this product except it loves batteries. Consider buying a package of 6 rechargeable AA batteries if/when you buy this product

Summary: Overall Very Good Quality
Review: The keyboard is a "soft touch" with more buttons than it takes to launch an ICBM. They are easy to program and the KB sits well in the lap, too.The mouse is a little on the heavy side (batteries) but you get used to it quickly. It glides smoothly and all of the buttons click sharply and are easy to program. I like the Web Wheel feature so far. Overall, a very good quality package. It's great not having all of those cords in the way.

Summary: Good Keyboard, bad mouse
Review: I really liked the keyboard, but the mouse didn't feel quite right. It felt too small in my hands and it was hard to control. The pointer seemed to lag as well. I found it hard to navigate with this mouse in most First Person shooters. Another thing I hated about the mouse is that it's always on even when the computer's off.

Summary: Great Idea, Poor Execution
Review: At first glance, this seems to be a great buy---Logitech proudly displays "Award Winner" next to it on their website, and you can usually find this combo for around 50-70 dollars. However, if you are a graphic artist or a gamer, look elsewhere. I am both, and the overall performance of the mouse forced me to return the product and keep using my factory ball mouse. The extra buttons on the keyboard are a nice addition but are placed in awkward positions so I doubt you'll be striking them from memory. The biggest complaint I had with the keyboard is that the number pad doesn't work with almost every game I tried. What's the point of having a keyboard with extra buttons when the standard buttons don't work? As far as the mouse, the pointer speed never seems to be right, and it is very jerky. This must be due to the RF aspect of it, because the optical sensor is 800 dpi. Try to draw a straight line in Photoshop---it will take you a couple tries before you get anything acceptable. Try playing a first person shooter and you'll be ready to throw the mouse out the window. Aiming with this mouse makes you think you are drunk- with the aimer waving all over the place, it is near impossible to make precision shots. Also, most games don't recognize the extra button or the scroll wheel on the mouse, so basically you end up with a half a mouse. Logitech's Mouseware seems to be the problem with the scrollwheel. Using the basic Windows drivers for the mouse, every program I tried recognized the scroll wheel. But without the Mouseware installed you lose a lot of extra functionality, like the extra button and the battery life status. All in all, if you don't play games or need precision movement, this is a great combo. But for the truly demanding, it just can't compete.

Summary: Freedom is the key
Review: 4 out of 5--Bar none, the best complete wireless setup available, but there is room to grow. The keyboard is a fine keyboard, the touch feel very similar to the newer Compaq keyboard supplied with the Deskpro EN line. The quick keys are great, I like the volume wheel the most. The software provided works great and allows you to customize the buttons as you see fit. The wireless mouse tracks fine, I use a Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer in my office and I think they function the same - I don't notice my home to office transition.
My only complaint is the Logitech mouse seems to chew through the batteries awfully fast (2 weeks) and the wireless receiver transmitter that plugs into your PC has some issues with my setup at home every once in a while (once a month or so). I keep it about 3-4 feet away from the mouse and keyboard (on the same level), behind my Klipsh speakers and monitor, and I have a wireless network setup. For me, it's a mild nuisance that I deal with because the overall benefit outways the problem that I am possibly causing.
--Last, for the benefit of those using a Microsoft Office Keyboard, you'll find the keys a little lower and the "feel" a little bit different on the Logitech keyboard.

Review: This is an okay keyboard/mouse. The mouse has a [bad] scroll, and the keyboard doesn't have lights to tell you that caps/num/scroll lock is on, and the SHIFT key is too small.

Summary: Convenient, but Heavy on the Mouse
Review: Well I have to admit I was wrong about Cordless Keyboards. It's pretty convenient being able to sit back in your chair with the keyboard on your lap facing the TV...and still be able to write emails. The sensor is EXTREMLY sensitive, and the keyboard doesnt haev to be pointed in the direction of it at all to work fine. The mouse is heavy. It's got 2 batteries in it, and obviously has plenty of electrical hardware inside to make it wireless capable. Its shaped for your hand nicely, but if your going to be playing games (mainly first person shooters), this isnt a GREAT mouse. Its heavy, and a little slow. I liked my wired Logitech Optical mouse better for games. If your NOT playing games, you'll probably find the mouse to be a perfect fit for your needs, especially if your going from a "track ball" mouse, which in my opinion is the most annoying thing you could have on a computer. (You'll agree with me once you use an optical). Overall, for the sale price that amazon has it for, it's a pretty good deal. It looks VERY nice..black and silver color combo. The best looking keyboard/mouse combo I could find. It works well, but as usual I'm having trouble with the "I touch" function, which are the hot keys. They work sometimes, and other times they don't. I dont feel the need to use them anyway, so that isnt a concern. Overall another quality product from Logitech. This is one reliable company in the world of computer hardware. I've had nothing but good experiences with them, and this is another. I originally bought an internet keyboard, but opted for this set with my new 2.8ghz Dell 8200 system. (I'm a pretty hardcore gamer) Good luck and take care.
