Summary: Good keyboard...Great price
Review: I purchased this keyboard for two systems I built (one for myself and one for someone else) six months ago. I love it, and neither of the keyboards have had any problems. It types easily and quietly and has a nice array of functions for an inexpensive keyboard. It took a little bit to get used to hitting the F-Lock key to access F1-F12, but it has never caused me any problems. I can count on one hand the number of times I've forgotten to hit the F-Lock key in the past six months. I use the function keys for their other functions 90% of the time, anyway. The media player controls (previous track, next track, play/pause, and stop), along with the My Computer/Documents/Pictures/Music keys are the most helpful. I like the fact the media key brings up a menu, since I use about 3 different media players on a regular basis. It only has a PS/2 connection, so if you're looking for USB, this isn't the keyboard for you. I prefer to not waste a USB port on a keyboard, when I have plenty of other things that require USB. Logitech makes quality products that last. I used to work retail, and the Logitech products didn't come back very often, compared to Microsoft mice and keyboards which came back frequently. I would definitely recommend this keyboard for its price, quality and functionality.

Summary: I love this keyboard
Review: I've been using this keyboard for a year or so.
It's great and has been working fine. The only annoyance is,if you don't install the software and you use Windows XP...you'll have to hit the "F" button to enable F1-F12 every time you turn on your PC. Otherwise,it's perfect.

5/5

Summary: No F function keys w/o f lock
Review: It gets annoying to not have the F keys working, but after a while you get used to the idea. The keyboard itself is great though. It's pretty quiet typing. I would like my shortcut alt-f4 though when those spammy ads come up.

Summary: You'll be sorry
Review: nice keyboard. very silent except oddly for the right shift key and spacebar which makes as much noise as any other keyboard. I'm guessing probably because they are long keys.

Summary: This keyboard is not very good
Review: While this keyboard is reasonably priced and seemed easy to type on, wound up returning it due to its quirky behavior. The F1 through F12 keys only work normally if the keyboard is in "F-lock" mode which you have to activate every tiem you turn the computer on. Otherwise these keys do another function specified by the software.

I didn't like the software driver for this keyboard because it didn't let you set a fixed application for the media key to launch. Pressing the Media key brings up a MENU on screen where you have to pick what media player you want to open. I would have liked to program this button just to run Winamp when I hit it but no, the software was more complicated than it needs to be and wouldn't let me.

If you're looking for a cheap keyboard I'd look for something else.
