Summary: A decent mouse choice and the price was right.
Review: This mouse is Microsoft's Intellimouse 4.0. As an optical mouse, its movement and weight are excellent. I replaced a broken Intellimouse 3.0 with this and even though this mouse seems favor a right-handed user (I am lefty) even more than version 3.0, it fits more comfortably into my hand than the V3.0.

The two things I do not like about the mouse are that the two side button are rather small and set too far up on the left side and the "tilt wheel" only seems to work in Internet Explorer and Netscape...does not work in Opera, Office XP or Photoshop.

All in all, I like the mouse and I liked the price with the free shipping. I compared prices with stores like CompUSA and BestBuys and Amazon was substantially cheaper.

Summary: Choose Another Mouse
Review: This mouse was absolutely wonderful until the left button stopped working. I now have to smash it before it will 'click' on anything. I thought it was a driver problem. Then I reconfigured it so the right button actually performed the left-click. Sure enough, the right button worked just fine. It seems that Microsoft did not test this mouse for sufficient durability. After 10 months I now have to get another mouse.

Summary: Piece of Junk. Hate tilt wheel!
Review: What a piece of XXXX...

All I can say is get Logi. The tilt wheel is VERY FLIMSY. It takes much force to make it go left and right with uncertain click. Scroll wheel does not have click and it takes a LOT of force to move it. Very poor design.

I just can't believe how low Microsoft mouse are. Logi has improved and no wonder Dell does not sell/offer Microsoft junks!

Summary: Great mouse
Review: Wireless

I am not regretting spending the money for a wireless mouse. It's so nice being to move the mouse to a different part of the desk for a different position without any hassle whatsoever, or any cord being in the way. I had some problems with lag at first but after I hit the connect button on the receiver and the mouse it all cleared. I guess it was on a different channel.

Feel of Mouse

Everything about this mouse is perfect, but this was designed for a right hand for you lefties. The shoulder buttons are exactly were they should be. And the shape is awesome. The curve of this mouse takes getting used to, but it feels very comfortable even following long hours of use, after getting used to it. At first I had my hand down to far on the mouse and had to stretch to hit the shoulder button with my thumb. But after I moved up my hand I have had the best feel with this mouse.

Scroll

I don't use the horizontal that much but its nice when I need it. The scroll is hard to click as a middle button like one of the other reviewers stated, but it's not bad after using it about a week. The smooth scrolling was very annoying because it didn't click every time you turn it. But now I love it so much lol! It is very hard to select weapons if you're a gamer. Like, using the scroll to select a weapon becuase it doesn't click everytime you select a different weapon. But once again you can learn to get used it. It definitely takes away fatigue from scrolling. So if you scroll a lot then this is the mouse for you.

Battery life

This mouse is supposed to give you excellent battery life (3x as long!). I haven't had to change the batteries yet, but I haven't had it long either. If you install the software that comes with it. It will show how much battery life is left and how great the signal is.

If I find any problems or wish to comment more I will update this review. Hope this help you decide!
