Summary: Get something else
Review: The concept is great. But, the mouse itself sucks! The battery door is hard to take off and when you do get the door off it doesn't stay close. You have to use a small screw driver to click the plastic battery door in place. Their tech support sucks. They won't admit that the battery door is defective! Get the logitech mouse instead. Also, don't forget to buy a big box of batteries

Summary: don't listen to these competitor's reviews, it's terrific!
Review: This is a fantastic mouse. no problems with the battery door at all, I think it's very solid and well designed considering the tiny size of the mouse. It's comfy to hold, nice finish. Buttons are great feeling, as is the wheel. I like the on-off switch, wish my Logitech wireless mouse for my home pc had this feature.
Only negative is that the wheel moves more than one "wheel click amount" for each physcial click, so it scrolls faster and less consistently than it is supposed to. However that's the smallest problem, and only problem I can find.
I'm very happy with this purchase. Nice little carrying pouch as well, and a nice usb extension if needed.

Summary: Good in context of travel
Review: This is not a replacement for all mice. I still use a full size cordless Logitech when I'm at the office. However, for travel and other times it's fine. Some points to note:

1) Range is affected by the screen and other RF shields. I encountered all the symptoms mentioned by other reviewers until I extended the USB cord to allow the receiver 'line of sight' to the mouse.

2) I pull the batteries when not using it - I only travel once every 2 weeks so this is probably not as inconvenient as it sounds.

3) Overall feel, buttons etc. are fine considering what it is.

Summary: works for awhile and then drops connection
Review: This mouse worked well for about 2 weeks and then it kept losing the connection between the mouse and computer. Tried new batteries, etc. but nothing seemed to work. It's so frustrating that I no longer use it. This problem occurred on two different Dell laptops.

Summary: Great improvement over the previous model
Review: This new model is much better than the older unit. The greatest improvement is the on/off switch and power saving functions. The old version would only save batteries when it was left still, which never happens when it's in my bag and always ended up taking the batteries out which was a real pain.

I do not find the switch hard to use as some people have indicated. I have short nails and stubby fingers, but I have no problems with it. It's designed to not be accidentally switched off.

I use 700mAh NiMH rechargable batteries in the mouse and it's been a week now and I haven't had to change them with moderate use. I also find it comfortable to hold and pleasing to look at (important with laptops I think.)

The wheel rolls silently, but the clicking could be a little quieter since it is a laptop mouse that you may want to use in a classroom or boardroom.

The bendable usb adapter is a nice addition and I would recommend this mouse to anyone. I have used it successfully in Windows XP Pro, Gentoo Linux and FreeBSD.
