Summary: Right handed eh ?
Review: Well, nice to know what Microsoft thinks of millions of left-handed users. Now where's that Linux CD...

Summary: The Best Product Microsoft has produced...is a mouse?
Review: Let's face it, the best Microsoft Products are not versions of Windows, but its hardware peripherals. Microsoft's Joystick, the Sidewinder, a very good product. And now an optical mouse for consumers (engineers have been using for years). I can say with the highest degree of confidence that THIS Microsoft product actually works! And you get precise mouse movement in return for what looks like a hefty price for a mouse. But you get four buttons, and a wheel. And it will probably outlast ten trackball mice. Your choice.

Summary: You can't do any better
Review: Sick of cleaning and/or discarding mouses? Sick of losing games because the mouse halted on you while tracking? It will not happen again - this product works with pinpoint accuracy w/o the use of a mouse pad. Worth every penny.

Summary: The Feel Is Real
Review: Demonstration in San Jose of this marvelous mouse adventure awed me. Although I do not own one at the moment my test experienc proved quite rewarding. Imagine the feeling sensation you receive when you use this product. Once you try it, forget the old type of mouse. No wonder Micro Soft is a partner in this new adventure.

Summary: Never need another mouse, This is GREAT!
Review: I've gone through all of them, trackballs, wheels, everything; nothing beats this mouse. The movement is perfect, the usb option is great, looks AWSOME, the laser on the bottom looks and works great. Microsoft even added a second laser to light up the back (red part under Microsoft) to impress your friends, and even looks like a ufo. The wheel works great and the extra buttons come in handy. If your looking for the perfect mouse that you'll never get board of GET THIS NOW!

Summary: Exciting technology that eradicates mouse belly-button lint!
Review: I didn't really realize how important my mouse was until I bought this product. The accuracy of the pointing device, the fact that it works on almost any surface, and the nifty design all score high marks with me. Best of all, you never have to clean your mouse ball again.

Summary: Mediocre Mouse
Review: I loved this mouse for about 3 months. And then it died. It's comfortable, attractive, responsive, and I loved the forward and back buttons. It was also my first mouse with a scroll wheel/button...nice. The optical aspect...wow. But these days that's nothing special (was gifted this in '00 but didn't use it much until '04).

I have two reservations, but they are important ones. First, it seems MS would be able to make a mouse that works flawlessly with its own OS. However, often the mouse would stop responding and I'd have to unplug and replug it, and restart my computer when that didn't work. The red power light would stay on and the activity light also responded, but it wasn't communicating.

Second, the thing doesn't work any more. I believe it's a weakness where the wire connects to the mouse body that caused it. I temporarily, insufficiently fixed it with electrical tape holding it in position, but that lasted about 2 weeks. I was certainly not rough enough with it over 3 months to warrant this; it's simply shoddy parts, design, or craftsmanship.

I won't say avoid this mouse at all costs. It's possible I got a dud. It's a great mouse except for the aforementioned problems. Still, I'm probably going with a Logitech cordless optical next time.

Summary: Most comfortable...smoothest gliding mouse I've ever used...
Review: Bought a 2nd one...This mouse fits my hand perfectly (or vice versa)...it is light enough to be comfortable, but heavy enough not to move by mistake. It has excellent construction and the first one has lasted more than 3 years...still works great. I do have a Intellimouse Explorer version 3.0 and bought this B75-00001 Intellimouse because it is the closest looking unit I could find. I don't think they make it any more...tried the newer units that are for left and right handed people...but they just don't fit the same. I have several mice (mouse-s??) and this is really the best fit of all.

Summary: Love it, love it, love it!
Review: Guess I can't agree with the review from the magazine printed here. The mouse is certainly not over featured. I am left handed and am buying a second Intellimouse because it has been one of the only truely comfortable mice I've used.

The extra two buttons are precisely where you need them and where they can be used the easiest. Sure, if you've used a three button mouse forever and change over to this five button model it is a different feeling that takes a few days to get used to.

This mouse makes for the fastest Internet navigation I've ever experienced. Built very tough. I'm buying another one in black to go with a new PC and moving the vanilla one to my sons computer. Just can't find it in black here.

I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Uh, I guess I am buying another one at the moment. See?
