Summary: You get what you pay for!
Review: I bought this wireless keyboard and mouse strictly because of it's low price... but I'm paying for it now.

First off, the mouse is awful. It does not work after a couple of months. I cleaned it, tinkered with it, but could not get it to work properly. The pointer still kept skipping all over the screen. I had to upgrade to a Microsoft wireless mouse.

I'm still using the wireless keyboard, but I'm about to upgrade it too. It works ok, but honestly it's not vey good. The software included with the keyboard is awful. It does not let you customize the keyboard and I can't find a software upgrade for it anywhere.

My advice is spend a little more for a better quality keyboard.

Buyer Beware!!!

Review: I have had so much trouble getting this thing to work. The keyboard has worked fine, but I haven't programmed the quick buttons yet. The mouse will not work at all. I am going to attempt to return this thing. It was a Christmas gift and the person that gave it to me cannot find the receipt. He just assumed that this was going to be a good product and was not worried about it! Guess we were both wrong about that!

Summary: JUNK mouse OK keyboard
Review: I have had this keyboard/mouse combo for about three months. I always had trouble with the mouse. I thought it was the batteries, or the positioning from the receiver, or my mouse pad was too smooth to make the ball roll all of the time.

WRONG! I finally figured out the problem. The ball in the mouse is too small for the hole is rests in. When I move the mouse up or down or right -- no problem. But when I move the mouse to the left it doesn't work. Well the roller inside the mouse is on the left side of the ball. The hole is so big that the ball, when pushed left, pulls away from the roller. The result is no mouse movement. What junk!

I just hope I can still get a refund. I will no longer nurse this mouse along. I will replace it ASAP. Do not waste your time or money on this trash. Learn from my mistake.

The keyboard is pretty good -- not great. But what good is a wireless keyboard/mouse combo when one of the components is absolutely worthless?

Summary: Works Well
Review: I like this key board; not only is it very reasonably priced, it's easy to install. The quick set up instructions made this a breeze. And I'm not a windows person, I have several Macs. It comes with batteries, it looks good, and i like the feel of the keys when in use. The keyboard seems reasonably well made. I had and intel wireless before this one. And it was much more expensive and I went through two of them, and the last one gave out after the warrenty expired.
So, for the price I would'nt hesitate to recomend this one. It has a lot of assignable keys as well

Summary: Wish I had my money back!
Review: I recently purchased this piece of junk from Target and I threw the box away thinking that it being a product made by General Electric that I wouldn't have any problems with it. Was I ever wrong, the mouse works good enough, and so does the keyboard until I put my computer into stand-by or sleep mode and then no matter what I do, it will not make my system respond, so I have to hit the reset button. It is scary what they call an owners manual, all it really does, is tell you what came in the box, not how it works or what to do if it doesn't work. Spend the money and get Microsoft, its worth it in the long run, buy right the first time and you don't have to buy again!

Summary: GE Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
Review: Just bought one 12//05/03 - had some difficulty getting it to work with the included SW and their directions - somewhat frustrating - once installed the kb did not function correctly - some of the keys did not assign correctly - I ended up using my orginal drivers and everything seems to be working great and all the speical function keys seem to work - no problems with the mouse - I do agree the lack of a keyboard manager is a problem - now to see if it will continue to operate long term - considering the cost of the MS optical mouse - I consider it a good value - also have a micro inovations wireless kb with a ball mouse that I picked up elsewhere for 10.00 after rebates - the keyboards seem quite similar -

Summary: Great Wireless Keyboard for a good price
Review: The design is light weight and designed like a wireless keyboard should be. It is not over-sized and "ergonomic" like other clunky wireless keyboards. This one is functional and can be used with ease while walking around or sitting in comfy positions/
