Summary: Nice mouse and its usb
Review: I have had this mouse for over 3 years and so far no problems (the blue/grey model). If you want a good usb compatible mouse for relatively cheap this is the one to get. Yeah, no third button, and its not cordless, but I figure this, why do you lose your remote control for your tv, dvd, stereo? Either because you took it somewhere with you or it fell in between the cushions of the couch. Paying an additional 15-20 bucks, just 'cause the thing is cordless (what are you going to do 30 feet from your computer?) is a waste of money.I also have a logitech keyboard (6 years old!) and have no problems with it. Logitech makes bullet-proof stuff as far as I have found. I find no "lag" or "sleep" problems with my mouse (how does a mouse go to sleep anyway?). As a Graphic Artist I have found no problems using it in Photoshop or Illustrator. Its pretty quick in fact (better than my 'click-only' mouse on my G5 at work). And I have been playing FarCry at home and it doesn't lag in that game at all (which is resourse intensive) and I am not running a video card, just the built in Asus Nvidia!!. Sounds like the previous review may have issues with video (its not the mouse) or overall perfomance on their box. All in all for the money, I can't think of a better deal, especially if you are just emailing, surfing, doing Word, playing games.

Summary: Best mouse I ever used
Review: I'm reading a lot of reviews that mention skipping or lag, and I can't imagine what's wrong, except to guess perhaps they are using the mouse on an inappropriate surface, perhaps very shiny? I've owned three of these, for my PC, for my Powerbook and for an ex's PC. I also happen to be lucky enough to have one at work and all 3 of mine plus the 4th have always performed perfectly. No need to install the software at all on a Mac, and mor than accurate enough. As a gamer and a graphic designer I've had no problems with speed or accuracy, the buttons are responsive and natural and the wheel works great. It's not "ergonomic" but I've found it more comfortable than my old MS Optical which was, and more reliable too. I'll never use a different mouse if I can avoid it, unless Logictech somehow improves on this one.

Summary: I KEEP RIGHT-CLICKING
Review: The mouse works very well and would definitely be worth the money EXCEPT FOR ONE PROBLEM: the buttons on this mouse seem unusually sensitive or something, because I keep involuntarily hitting right when I don't want to. I don't recall ever having this problem with other mouses. It's possible that me accidentally hitting right click constantly is entirely the fault of my hand and not the mouse, but as I said, I've never had this problem with other mouses. Perhaps it'll take some more getting used to.

Summary: Tried and Trusted
Review: I've had this mouse for about two years now. I got it when my old ball mouse got too dusty to use. Since I have been using this mouse, I actually got a new mouse, which broke, and I went back to using this one. When I ordered my new computer it came with a gimmicky mouse that had all these features (it was clear, and had LED's in it). It was nice to show off with... but it broke. So I went back to my logitech. This mouse works great. I've never had a problem with it. Sure, it only had 2 buttons and the scroll wheel, but what else do you really need on a mouse? Since then I've bought a logitech joystick and keyboard, which have also worked great, while my no-brand controller broke within weeks. In conclusion, this mouse is great, and so are all logitech products. I'll never buy another non-logitech computer peripheral ;-)

Summary: Good if cheap--otherwise look elsewhere
Review: A simple mouse that is optical and slightly more money than it's worth. There is nothing exceptional about this which makes it more compelling than the sevven-dollar generics at the computer store, except perhaps for the Logitech logo sticker. I am obsessed with the Logitech logo sticker. It's rubbery and I'm always picking at it for no apparent reason. The case of the mouse is made of that slippery matte finish and slips out of my hands probably because the mouse isn't for normal adult male-sized hands.
If you can get it for seven bucks like the knock-offs, go for it. Definitely not worth twenty dollars.
And what's with the very thin cable?

Summary: Great mouse!
Review: This is the second Logitech optical mouse I've bought and I've had it for about a year. During this time, I haven't had a single problem with it. You don't even need to install the software that comes with it, just plug it in and you have a brand new working mouse (although it is recommended that you do install it). It works on any surface, although I prefer to use a mousepad because the mouse itself has 4 soft plastic feet which keep a 1/10 mm distance between the surface and the actual mouse, and they tend to come off if you rub it against an abrasive surface. Other than that, the mouse is high-quality, robust, and I've even had it fall off the desk a few times without anything happening to it. It's simple and good for office use (where, as you know, frequent accidents happen) and also home.

Summary: Does what it is supposed to do...
Review: Simply put this mouse does what it is supposed to do.
I bought it as my first optical mouse in Feb 2003, with a rebate I believe it was $15. It is going on two years of moderate use and it is still working fine.
The only con to it would be that it is not ergonomically designed, but for $10-20 more you can get yourself a wireless optical mouse that IS ergonomically designed. As well I don't think it bills itself as "ergonomic".
My job requires working in tradeshows and we had bought this mouse to replace our old wheel mice (about 10 of them). The Logitech Corded Optical Wheelmouse are cheap (in price) and you don't have to worry about junk gumming up the internals of the mouse.
As I have used this mouse mainly for web browsing and clicking through MS office applications it has served its purpose very well.
I would suggest this mouse as a "first mouse" for a young child learning to work on a computer. Look, the peanut butter and jelly wipes right off the optics!

Summary: A great cheap little mouse
Review: Pros:
Available in four colors (beige, black, navy, silver).
Flashy -- but not too flashy. Nice red glow emerges from the underside, without the appearance that you gave your mouse ground effects.
Smooth, rubbery scroll wheel; this feels comfortable under your finger, but doesn't slip when you roll it.
Medium click pressure on first and second buttons.
Cons:
Click pressure on middle button (scroll wheel) is a little too high.
Too little weight lends the mouse a cheap feel.
Overall, this is a great little mouse, and the price is unbeatable. I am sad to report that mine began producing double-clicks on the left button when I was only clicking once. This occurred after about a year of high (30+ hours per week) use. For what it's worth, I have always been hard on mice, and this is the 3rd mouse I've broken.

Summary: logitech optical mouse
Review: This mouse came with my computer and it is really good. It is accurate and there does not seem to be a lag. The only problem with this mouse is that when i am using it the mouse cursor sometimes stops movng and i have to pick it up and put it down again or it will appear at the top of the screen suddenly. What is strange though is that this mouse is fine for games. I have managed to play through X111 with no problems. The mouse is comfortable to hold and the scroll wheel is easy to use. Overall a simple wheel mouse whih i highly reccomend.

Summary: worst mouse ever
Review: The mouse jumps up and down on the screen like it is a live mouse. Never ever buy this model any more. Go for the similar microsoft product. I have been satisfied with that product until it was stolen.
