Summary: Great mouse! great price, and no more cleaning
Review: I bought this mouse in Best Buy a couple days ago and I love it. No more dirt on the tracking ball and the red light that reads the surface make it look like a high tech mouse.

Also, the scrolling option is very useful for browsing and the other ad-ons like the web wheel give the mouse more funtions.

Better options?? yep, the ergonomic ones, but this one does the job for a great price.

Summary: Balless Wonder
Review: My old ball mouse started acting weird, so I thought I'd upgrade. I'm glad I did. This thing is smooth. Unlike conventional mice there is almost no resistance when moving it around. It's very precise. Don't listen to anyone who still likes mice with balls, they're living in the past. For the price I would have to highly recommend this.

Summary: This mouse is on steroids! They should call it the T2000!
Review: You can almost hear the words "I'll be back" come from this science fiction looking optical mouse. If Arnold Schwarzenneger were a mouse, he would be this one! Great looks and excellent performance are what this device is all about. Don't forget great tracking and perfect button pressure. It's all here!

Plus, you get two Duracell AA batteries that run a eye-catching blinking LED on the outside of the box. The batteries aren't required for the mouse, so pop them in your Walkman and consider yourself ($) to the good!

Say "Hasta la vista, baby" to your old ball-mouse, or other overpriced optical mouses. This device is the true Terminator!

Summary: Great mouse but DPI could be better.
Review: This is my first optical mouse and I am very impressed by the precision this mouse produces. The simple 2 buttons and wheel make it an easy to use tool, ambidextrous, and user friendly. The only problem I have is when playing games. It skips a little when moving too fast which means the DPI is a little slow. But if you have your mouse sensitivity set high in windows, then u shouldn't have problems. As for low to mid sensitivity users, fast movements create errors.

Summary: Excellent ...
Review: Logitech seems to be experienced in their area of computers. Logitech fits my hand perfectly and percision is perfect. Being a Web Designer & Developer, that is good compliment. Unlike the votes before me, I found buttons perfect. Doesn't take much effort to push the buttons which is good because you don't want to accidently push button when you don't want too. I have tried MS Optical in stores and I like Logitech better, Fits my hand much better.

Summary: Great 2 button optical mouse with wheel
Review: I travel with my computer and greatly prefer the small footprint of this quality product. Other optical mice add the third and fourth buttons which are great for home game play - but add to the size of the product. This is a great value for business users tired of banging their mouse on the table...

Summary: As good as Microsoft..
Review: Just as good as the Microsoft IntelliEye, for a little less money. This is a great buy in optical mouse technology, which is the current state of the art.

Summary: Inconsistent tracking
Review: First, I've used probably 3 dozen different mice and overall I like Logitech's products best. This was my first optical mouse so I can't compare, but I was VERY disappointed in its tracking. During quick movements, very often the cursor would jump from one side of the screen to the other. This happend a lot. I thought it might be my mousepad so i tried on different surfaces with similar results.

It does have some nice features thought. First, the wheel button has a very positive feel. I like to use the wheel button as a double click and find that the wheel on most wheel mice moves too easily, so when I press the wheel for a double click, I end up scrolling slightly as well. Logitech's wheel takes more effort to move, so that problem is eliminated.

I like the shape and size of the mouse, it fits my hand well. Logitech is tops in this area.

Other complaints is that the buttons take slightly too much pressure (in my opinion) to click.

Also, the pads at the bottom are too large and tend to pick up dirt too easily. The pads should/could be made smaller. Overall, the quality is there, but I could not deal with having my cursor jumping around all the time so I returned it and am back to using my 3 button Logitech.

I don't know if this problem is symptomatic of all optical mice, but I'm going to try the Microsoft Optical next....

Summary: Want an optical mouse? This is the one!
Review: For a while I could not decide if I should but a Logitech optical mouse or a Microsoft optical mouse. I finally decided on Logitech since it was cheaper. Let me tell you this mouse is the BEST. One of my friend has a Microsoft optical mouse. He tried my mouse while using it in school and right there he new he got ripped off. He said my mouse was more responsive and had better movement. He also highly noted that the wheel on the Logitech was much better. I also did some reasearch. The Logitech mouse comes with a 5 year warranty and Microsoft only has a 3 year warranty. Plus I have learned from past experiance that Microsoft's tech support is no where near Logitech's. Trust me don't pay extra for a Microsoft optical mouse, get a Logitech optical wheel mouse. Not to mention the Logitech looks cooler than the Microsoft mouses. Logitech also includes great software with the mouse. Bottom line:If you really want a Microsoft optical mouse buy it. But remember what I said when you finally relize you made a big mistake. If you want to avoid wasting your hard earned money get The Logitech Wheelmouse Optical.
