Summary: This mouse rules!
Review: I love this mouse! plugged it in, replaced my logitech wireless and it worked right out of the box, no need for reboot. My gaming scores have increased by 100%! There is no mouseball, so everything is as accurate as you want it. This mouse is a MUST Get if you want pro performance without going broke. GET THIS MOUSE!

Summary: Great mouse for less $
Review: If you want an optical mouse, I think this is the one to go for. It's less expensive that Microsoft's, and Logitech is a trusted name. I got mine to use with my laptop (the little red mouse button IBM makes causes my tendinitis to flare up), and it works just fine through USB. The packaging is a little weird (there is a flashing red light on the box, run by batteries, that kind of alarms a person when you open the package), and I wonder if Logitech couldn't have cut the price just a tad by not having that extra, but otherwise, this is a great mouse. It's all you need in an optical one.

Summary: Why use anything else?
Review: This is a great mouse. I was getting *really* tired of my old mouseball gunking up and skipping. Thus the search for an optical mouse began. When I came across this one, I couldn't believe it! An optical mouse with a wheel (you get used to it really fast) for under $25 ($30 after s/h)! I bought two... one for work and one for home. Plus with the USB and PS/2 connectors, it'll work on pretty much any platform. It's my opinion that the included WebWheel software is pretty useless but the mouse itself? Simply great.

Summary: Another Fantastic Mouse
Review: I am very pleased with with Mouseman Optical. For over a year I have been using the non-optical mouseman wheel from Logitech and have grown used to it's comfortable feel. Being an avid gamer, I wanted the precision of the Microsoft Intellimouse with the comfort of my mouseman. Finally Logitech has provided me with such a mouse. The mouse installs without problem and will impress your friends with it's blue & red lights that make it glow. If you are a gamer you will have to go to the logitech site to download a gaming patch to fix a small error that effects some games (Quake III Arena). Otherwise this is a flawless mouse.

Summary: Amazing!
Review: I was looking to buy MS's mouse, but it was continuously sold out & I recieved this one for a birthday present. I can't believe how good this mouse is. I am so glad the "budget" MS IntelliMouse was sold out because this one includes some great features that Microsoft's just doesn't have. The software included has a feature called "WebWheel." When you depress the scroll button a small wheel pops up with customizable links to your favorite websites and other useful internet features. This is a great mouse to use & at a wonderful price.

Summary: The Better Mouse
Review: I have worked in Tech Support for some time now so I have used many different mice, but I have never found a mouse with as high a level of quality and precision as a Logitech Mouse. The benefits of an Optical Mouse over a ball mouse are many, and in this case the price is also quite nice. Anyone who has used a Logitech mouse knows that they are far superior to Microsoft mice in many ways. This mouse is NO exception! I fits right or left handed people and has a much better feel. I have noticed that the wheels on Logitech mice seem to stick less than MS mice also. If you need precision, and hate having to continually clean your ball mouse than this mouse is a MUST HAVE!

Summary: Great Value
Review: This mouse costs less than most optical mice and it is very comfortable. I use it with my laptop and I love it. Since it is optical there is no need to clean the insides of the mouse and it tracks on almost any surface so you don't need to pack a mousepad in with your laptop.

Summary: Nice mouse and its usb
Review: I have had this mouse for over 3 years and so far no problems (the blue/grey model). If you want a good usb compatible mouse for relatively cheap this is the one to get. Yeah, no third button, and its not cordless, but I figure this, why do you lose your remote control for your tv, dvd, stereo? Either because you took it somewhere with you or it fell in between the cushions of the couch. Paying an additional 15-20 bucks, just 'cause the thing is cordless (what are you going to do 30 feet from your computer?) is a waste of money.

I also have a logitech keyboard (6 years old!) and have no problems with it. Logitech makes bullet-proof stuff as far as I have found. I find no "lag" or "sleep" problems with my mouse (how does a mouse go to sleep anyway?).

As a Graphic Artist I have found no problems using it in Photoshop or Illustrator. Its pretty quick in fact (better than my 'click-only' mouse on my G5 at work). And I have been playing FarCry at home and it doesn't lag in that game at all (which is resourse intensive) and I am not running a video card, just the built in Asus Nvidia!!. Sounds like the previous review may have issues with video (its not the mouse) or overall perfomance on their box.

All in all for the money, I can't think of a better deal, especially if you are just emailing, surfing, doing Word, playing games.

Summary: Best mouse I ever used
Review: I'm reading a lot of reviews that mention skipping or lag, and I can't imagine what's wrong, except to guess perhaps they are using the mouse on an inappropriate surface, perhaps very shiny?

I've owned three of these, for my PC, for my Powerbook and for an ex's PC. I also happen to be lucky enough to have one at work and all 3 of mine plus the 4th have always performed perfectly. No need to install the software at all on a Mac, and mor than accurate enough. As a gamer and a graphic designer I've had no problems with speed or accuracy, the buttons are responsive and natural and the wheel works great.

It's not "ergonomic" but I've found it more comfortable than my old MS Optical which was, and more reliable too. I'll never use a different mouse if I can avoid it, unless Logictech somehow improves on this one.

Summary: I KEEP RIGHT-CLICKING
Review: The mouse works very well and would definitely be worth the money EXCEPT FOR ONE PROBLEM: the buttons on this mouse seem unusually sensitive or something, because I keep involuntarily hitting right when I don't want to. I don't recall ever having this problem with other mouses. It's possible that me accidentally hitting right click constantly is entirely the fault of my hand and not the mouse, but as I said, I've never had this problem with other mouses. Perhaps it'll take some more getting used to.
