Summary: It's not compatible with my mouse pad? HUH?
Review: I like the way this mouse feels. But when I installed it, I made a strange discovery. I know this sounds silly, but my brand new Logitech optical mouse isn't compatible with my MOUSE PAD!

My mouse pad has a photograph on it, and that photograph has a lot of lights and darks. It seems that the optical mouse is having trouble sensing where it is on the mouse pad -- because of the strong contrasts between light and dark.

As soon as I tried a different mouse pad, the Logitech Wheel Mouse Optical worked great.

What's this world coming to? Not only do we have to worry about our OS and our software being compatible, or different pieces of hardware being compatible. Now we need to worry about whether our mouse is compatible with our mouse pad!

Summary: A great product for all
Review: I bought this mouse to go with my notebook computer. It allows me to sit a little further back, and not rely on the touchpad. The programmable features of the wheel allow for web navigation quicker than using the browser toolbar. For curiosity's sake, I took mine apart and found out that even the wheel itself is optically tracked with another set of sensors inside. My only complaint is that I never use a mousepad, I use my pant leg. This has caused the identification sticker on the bottom of the mouse to wear out (you can't read it anymore) after only two weeks of use. I recommend writing the serial number down somewhere safe when you get it. Other than that, it's great. I am a pretty big guy, and the small mouse size fits perfectly in my hand, not uncomportable at all. I recommend this mouse above any others. On oertain optical mice I have used (Microsoft), The wheel has worn out, meaning little resistance to movement. Upon my internal inspection, I do not believe this product will ever wear out.

Summary: Great Job Logitech!
Review: I have owned a logitech trackball for 3 years now. I still love it! And have never had any problems with it.

So when going to buy my wife a new laptop, we stopped by the "mouse" section to pick up one for her (since we do not like the touch pads that comes with laptops). First off the colors grab you eyes. They had a very nice blue one (seen above) and a very cool red one. We opted for the red.

So we got home unpacked the laptop and played with it for awhile and decided to hook up the mouse to it. Our laptop has Windows XP, and we plugged it into the USB port....boom XP recognized it and we were on our way.

This little baby is very acurate, my wife was playing with the laptop on our bed and using her thigh as the "mouse pad"...no problems there. It is also very, very light. That takes a little getting used to. The red glow is neat.

Logitech is the leader in this industry when it comes to mice, keyboards, cams....you name it. And they do not let us down here. I will never buy from another company when it comes to this type products. They truely and literally outshine the others. BUY IT!

Summary: Just average
Review: The overall construction and quality seems good, and I have the iFeel version so its a little bit heavier than other optical mice and the added weight seems better. However, the scroll wheel is the most glaring example of poor design and assembly I've seen in Logitech products. The wheel is very notchy and requires way to much effort to use, also the way in which the driver scrolls pages is inferior (lots of jitters and unresponsive) to my Microsoft optical mouse and my Razer Boomslang mouse. I think I'll be returning this one.

Summary: GREAT MOUSE!!
Review: I bought this mouse two days ago, and I love the feeling and the tracking. I use the computer for both work and play. I enjoy the prefect tracking and the comfortable feeling. Again, this mouse does not sound cheap (Who cares? If it sounds cheap). It has an ergonomic feeling and the weight is just prefect: Very comfortable. I recommend anyone who is looking for a mouse that incorporates value, quality, and importantly, the price is right for optical mouse.

Summary: VERY NICE!
Review: I would of givin it 5 stars, but it does feel a bit made for smaller hands. I happen to have a small hand. Really like the fast movement of the mouse than with the roller ball type. A very Big Difference in the feel! Very Smooth! Definitely recommend this one for the smaller hands. It feels it gives the correct ergonomic feel to it. No need for a mousepad cushion for the wrist. Faster response, less manuevering.

Summary: Great Mouse!
Review: If you are in the market to buy a cheap Optical mouse, this is the way to go. Optical mice are far superior to their mechanical predecessors, and this mouse is relatively cheap (when compared to the Microsoft mice). If you can afford it, I would get the Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical instead (because it is more comfortable and it has two extra buttons that are EXTREMELY useful), but as a basic optical mouse, this is great. It is especially good for laptop users!

Summary: Excellent product for sure!
Review: This is great!!!!!! :) I love this mouse. It's a must buy definately. First off: you NEVER have to clean it! Secondly: This thing will work if I use it on my head! (I have normal somewhat short hair... it works perfect!) Works on carpet, on a chair. Doesn't do so well with glass/transparent surfaces, or white, but otherwise it works very well. Oddly enough if you're sitting beside someone and trying to use it sideways, it doesn't work very well. (It's something to do with the angle I hold it or something). However that circumstance is rare. It's very nice looking and very precise! It's just as good as any microsoft mouse, and the price certainly is right! :)

Summary: An incredible mouse for the price
Review: I absolutely love this mouse, its a big step up from that nasty thing that comes stock with most computers. I first tried the logitech mouseman (45-50 dollars) but found that it was to large and switched to this mouse. For people that like to rest their hands on the pad this is a good mouse, for those that like to rest their hands on the mouse the mouseman is a better choice. The scroll wheel is low resistance, which I like a lot, the movement is incredibly smooth, and there is a 5 year warranty. If you don't already have it, get one. :)

Summary: It feels so liberating ... and so smooth
Review: Quite amazing ... a true liberating experience for those who had years of titanic struggles with a rollerball's gunk problems. Logitech is well known to make great mouse products and this one proves it. Everything feels smooth, it glides smoothly, and it has smooth colours on it. The mouse stays true to form when I tried it on reflex games like QuakeIII and Unreal Tournament .... so what more can I say? You must buy it, because from now on I am spoilt with this wonderful piece of gizmo and will never, ever, tolerate rollerballs again.
