Summary: Great if you hate touchpads
Review: All too often you barely have enough space for your laptop, let alone a trackball or mouse. If you don't like using the touchpad (like me) this is what you are looking for. It's easy once you get used to it and let you work almost anywhere. I wouldn't suggest it as a best solution for game play, but then again, it might work for that, too, after to get a feel for it. However, for the usual day-to-day stuff like work processing, I wouldn't consider using anything else.

Review: I bought one of these about 6 months ago and the trigger button no longer clicks and if you barely touch it while you are moving the courser it highlights everything. One of the top buttons is starting to get catchy also. I have not tried any of the other manufacturers yet, but I don't think that I will buy another one of these.

Review: I got one of these about a year ago for use with my laptop, which I often use in the living room in an easy chair. Sure, trackballs aren't for everyone, especially when thumb-driven, but really, folks, it's not that hard to get used to.

I've had to clean out under the ball a few times, but not really anymore so than with a conventional mouse. The trigger button gets a little tricky after prolonged use - it seems the spring is dead or dying. That's my only complaint with it, and a little side-to-side shake once in a while keeps it going, though I am about to buy another one.

Summary: Portable and truely left handed
Review: I love this trackball. It's portable and it makes my life so much easier. Presentations occur seemlessly because I can hide this product in the palm of my hand and I don't need to constantly reach out to touch the laptop button or ask a coworker to cue the 'next slide' for me. I can plug it into any pc and function left-handed without altering their desktop setting. With standard settings it allows more accurate control of the mouse pointer, and with a little alteration of acceleration settings it can function more like the mouse on your desktop. I find it easing repetitive stress syndrome much better than those mouse pad wrist supports also.

The only draw back if there is one is durability, when the trackball is squeezed or handled roughly it sqeaks as though it might break. I haven't had any trouble, but I'm careful with my equipment some of my coworkers predicted an early grave for this little guy. It's still working well for me, but if you're one of those people who is tough on equipment you may wish to look elsewhere. Personaly I'm thinking of replacing my other mice with these, I never thought it would be more than an alternative laptop input device, but I find I use it more and more. :)

Review: This mouse is good for a laptop that you have to carry with you if you are tight on space or for a child. For most adults it is to small, and it is hard to control.
