Rating: Summary: Not a wireless mouse. Review: Don't go by the picture posted by Amazon. Its not a wireless mouse. Its USB wired mouse. Works well, no complains. But if you are looking into buying this because as wireless mouse (as shown) in the picture then this is not for you.

Rating: Summary: Good Value on a Travel Mouse for Notebook Users Review: I bought this mouse for my PowerBook, primarily for use when away from home. For my large hands, I have traditionally preferred large mice, such as the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer and the (no longer available) full-size Logitech MouseMan series. However, I do find this mouse to be perfectly acceptable, especially given its portable dimensions. For me, it is much more comfortable than the slightly smaller, but more expensive Pocket Mouse SE (72118). It is comfortable enough that when I get home, I pull it out of its included stuff sack and plug it into my Kensington Keyboard-in-a-Box (64350) which serves as a two-port USB hub when plugged into my PowerBook. Thus, it also makes a reasonable compact desktop mouse.
In terms of performance, it has worked on any reasonable surface. I have had no problem using it on a variety of surfaces including solid-wood desks, laminate desks, standard mouse pads, a deeply textured couch, jeans, and the comforter on my bed. The only problematic surfaces have been a shiny metal file cabinet top and a holographic mouse pad, but this is to be expected. For the price I can't complain.
As far as compatibility is concerned, I have had no problems with my Mac running OS X (10.3) or my PC running Windows XP Professional. No driver installation was required for either system.
I'd highly recommend this as carry-along mouse for most portable computer users.
Rating: Summary: Great travel mouse Review: I have had this mouse for almost a year now, and a couple of months ago it started flaking out, not always clicking when I clicked. Then I had to start unplugging and re-plugging it to get it to turn on. Eventually it just stopped turning on all together. We tested other USB devices on my laptop, and found that it was indeed a mouse problem. We even tried the mouse on several different computers. I'm working on contacting Kensington to replace it, but so far I've only recieved an e-mail parroting back to me my original complaint.

Rating: Summary: Great Traveling mouse Review: I recently purchased this mouse to carry with me while traveling. The mouse works great. I haven't had any problems using it on various surfaces. Once in a while the cursor will "jitter" back and forth as though the mouse is sensing tiny tiny movements even though it is resting. A simple nudge of the mouse stops the "jitter" if you feel the need to stop it. The wheel and buttons all work well. The thing I like best about this traveling mouse compared to others I looked at was it's size. It isn't the smallest "traveling" mouse on the market, but it is small enough to fit in my computer case for easy traveling yet big enough to be usable by someone with large hands and long fingers (me).
Rating: Summary: Best Mini Mouse!! Download the driver from their website. Review: I used to have problem with this mouse for the first year: it won't work on the light color mouse pad, the point is always un-steable,..... just SO Hard to control! We tried to install the driver, clean the exterior, change the mouse pad with dark color background..... It just won't work. My husband gave one last try by downloading the driver from their web site, and, this time, it WORKS!! My problem solved! This mouse has been like a pro ever since!! Steable, Sharp, and easy to control!
Rating: Summary: Great travel mouse Review: I've had this mouse for 1.5 years now and use it when on the road, during off site presentations, and when working at home. It's compact, comes with a stuff sack, and best of all works on my thigh while I'm trapped in a crowded airplane.
Rating: Summary: Doesn't work on some standard desktops Review: My main gripe about this mouse is that it is somewhat picky about what surfaces it will work with. I have other optical mice that work fine on my standard grey desk; however, the Kensington Optical Pocketmouse just won't work on that surface. It will work on mousepads and many wood surfaces, however. It's a decent mouse otherwise, but I expect more versatility from a device designed for travel.
Rating: Summary: nice little mouse Review: This is a nice little mouse. Large enough to use, but small enough to hide in the corner of your shoulder bag. It doesn't look like the white mouse pictured, but I don't mind - it's better, translucent with its red glow. The only gripe I have is that I don't seem to be able to customize the behavior of the scroll wheel, and its default behavior is to scroll a tiny bit (too little) in individual clicks, but large bits (too large) when scrolled more quickly.
