Summary: unbelievable bad
Review: Usually I read some reviews online regarding a product before buying it. But this time I did not...I owned the "regular" MS Optical mouse since 2000 and when it gave up (left button is not functional anymore) a week ago I could think of any other replacement than another MS optical mouse...it was that good.
ALso, I wanted to go big:) and buy a wireless, thinking that less cable arround my laptop will look and feel great.
BUT:
- it works if you "plug&play", just that the sideways scrolling function is not recognized and it will not work. If you want to make it work, you have to install the software...BUT SURPRIZE...it will install only if you uninstall the touchapd software of you laptop...go figure...
- opening the package brought another SURPRIZE...it's wireless alright, but the other end which connects to the laptop/desktop is composed from a "mouse" sized thingie (the wireless receiver) with a 1m or so of cable attached to it...thus my intention of relieving my desk of cables was not a succes.
- installed the software, rebooted the laptop...and started to...well TRY to use the mouse...to understand my expression, please remember a BALL! mouse...BUT A BAD ONE on a dirty surface (without a mouse pad)...yeap, it was that bad. After an hour of trying to change the channels I gave up, also because my hand was killing me.
It worked only once...in 2 full weeks of use...
It is a great looking mouse...but I don't know why is this BAD!...
MICROSOFT...please make a driver which will not conflict with the laptop's touchpads, make the mouse work like a "wired mouse" and most important...try to build a "laptop version" of it, without that second "mouse" receiver and the meters of cable hanging...
Don't change the looks...it looks nice but I needed something which works...so I went back to the store and bought a "wired" Optical Intelly Mouse for almost 30% less...and it worked like a charm from the moment I sticked it in.

Summary: This is a Kids Opinion
Review: yea, im a kid, and my dad wouldnt buy me a new mouse since he said the one we had (wired, not opitcial) was still working, and he was right, so i bought this mouse because bluetooth was MAD expensive, and i installed it

and it worked. however, the next day, i tried it and it just all of a sudden screwed up. the pointer started getting laggy, and the mouse still was MAD ssensitive, making me lose in cs ...like 0:5 ratio!!!!!

and this is what i say, DONT BUY IT

that cheep tilt wheel thing was so stupid, you barely need it, and the mouse design isnt good for the "right" part of your hand

-bad mouse
-bad design
-overly sensitive
-sux for laptops
-tilt wheel is just another one of those gimmicks (it works, but you rarely need it)
-SUX
