Summary: Great keyboard and mouse!
Review: Easy setup and works very well! Both the mouse and the keyboard have a comfortable feel. I have had no problems so far with battery life, although I have not had the set for long. Cordless is wonderfully freeing and I highly recommend this item.

Summary: Great Keyboard & Mouse...need to buy rechargable batteries
Review: I think this combo is great. It works well and installation was no problem. My only complaint is the battery life on the mouse. Just within the past week I started getting "Mouse Battery Level Critical." messages. I've only had it for about a month so I was surprised to see that already. But after reading the other reviews, I see I'm not alone. Its not that big of a deal though, I just need to buy some rechargable batteries. I still feel I got my money's worth. Wireless is awesome. I'm planning on buying another set for my father's computer. Just waiting for the price to go down. Hope this helps.

Summary: Great keyboard/mouse set, better than MicroSoft
Review: I just received this, we bought from Amazon , what a deal!

The setup took less than 3 minutes and it works great! The keyboard has a great smooth soft touch feel, not the cheap loud plastic keys and the mouse is very comfortable with rubber tabs on the sides for great gripping. There is an extra button on the left side for your thumb, we have this set to be the double click for quick launch and exit to programs. The extra hot buttons on the keyboard are great, auto launches into ebay, yahoo, mail or whatever you want.

Definately recommend!!!

Summary: Excellent quality. Mouse sucks batteries.
Review: The keyboard is lightweight, robust and has a pleasant soft touch feel of typing. In addition, it has been over four months and the batteries are yet to be replaced.

The mouse, on the other hand, has been through approximately five changes of batteries. I recommend buying a good set of rechargeables for this. However, response is excellent and works at a fair range from the base. I've made it work at up to ten feet with line of sight from the base unit.

The extra features are great. The customizable buttons, volume wheel and on-board play controls are extremely useful - especially the play controls as they allow me to stop, start, skip forward in all of the media applications that I use (WinDVD, Windows Media Player, Winamp, RealPlayer, PowerDVD).

All in all, a great buy. Don't forget the batteries.

Summary: You will never get Mail in Rebate
Review: Well, this keyboard and mouse are good. But, dont buy this if your buying it because of MAIL IN REBATE. You will never get the mail in rebate.

Summary: Nearly perfect
Review: Industry leader Logitech demonstrates why it is the best.
The Elite Duo not only has the outstanding but also thoughtful design. So many previews revealed how good the product is. Personally I love it. However, there're few thing has to be told.
The mouse eats the batteries like hell! Since there's no way to shut down the power except manually, I almost exchange 2 AAs every 3-4 weeks. I'm not talking about Walgreen batteries but Duracell Ultra AAs. Within less than 12 months. I spent more than $30 on batteries which equals to a non-wireless optical mouse.
Another thing about the mouse is the arrow sometimes jumps around with no reason. Even after I downloaded the latest patch, it doesn¡¦t improve too much. So if you are a die hard first person shooting game fan. You better watch out for the ¡§special effects¡¨.
To sum up, those imperfections don¡¦t change my opinion too much. I still gave it 4 stars. In the future, I will definitely buy its successor, Elite Duo Bluetooth.

Summary: great combo, painful rebate!
Review: this wireless combo from logitech is better than i had expected/hoped! the mouse tracks perfectly and has a thumb button for the 'back' function on your browser (or you can re-progam it for other functions, though i don't know how i ever used a mouse without a 'back' button for my browser - a life-changing function). keyboard is great too - and after the rebate it's $40 all-in - unbeatable. but i beat my head against the wall for almost a month after they denied my rebate for no reason and then lost radio contact (way too much trouble for $20, but i fought on principle) - logitech outsources rebate processing to a third party, and they're incompetent, beaurocratic, etc. that being said, i finally got the rebate and for the money you can't touch this combo......

Summary: Whaddya want for nothing?
Review: This works exactly as is should...keyboard layout, feel design is a matter of religion. If you hate some keyboards, there's a chance you might hate this one to, so check it out in person. I have never hated a keyboard, and I don't hate this one...I don't use alot of the stuff on it, but it's fine for what I do -- alot of typing. I was not *thrilled* with the angle, but it's not a disaster either. I type alot on a daily basis, and this is fine for those purposes.

The mouse is also adequate to normal computer use. But if you play 1st person shooters, you might want to think about having a dedicated USB optical mouse for that. This mouse is ok for most things, but it's not the best.

Summary: Great Product-No Rebate Though
Review: This product is great, but you'll never get your rebate. The company Logitech uses for rebates is unreachable. They won't respond to your emails and they have no phone number. I have resubmitted per their instructions and still no reply. Good luck!
