Summary: Cluttered, clanky keyboard, awful mouse
Review: Yow! What a disappointment! The keyboard is badly layed out and full of mostly useless (for me) keys, and it's clattery-noisy besides. And the mouse is an abomination--it lags, and its motion is sluuuuggish. Even set to its highest speed, moving the cursor around is an exercise in frustration and impatience. It made my hand so anxious I had to stop and shake it very few minutes to get it relaxed again. Logitech mice are MUCH better--they're quick and accurate, and you can set them to go TOO fast if you want to.(Although Logitech's ergo keyboards suck too, they think a little more about their customers.) I tossed this whole Microsoft combo in the trash after diligently trying it for two long days. In the last couple of years I've had from Microsoft five mice, four keyboards, and one wireless network system, and none has worked worth a darn--all were a complete waste of money and time, and I ended up either giving away or chucking them all. Now I hope I've finally learned my lesson and will refrain forever from falling for the hype and buying any more hardware made by Microsoft.
