Summary: Love It!!
Review: My laptop is finally completely wireless! I received this mouse three days ago and I am already wondering how I had lived without it! It's definitely worth the money...I'd recommend this cool little device to anyone.

Summary: Great for travel, not great for office/home use
Review: My only problem with this mouse is the receiver. For other optical mice (including other mice offered by Logitech), the receiver is attached to a cord and can be moved around for optimal reception. The receiver for this mouse plugs directly into the computer (no cord), so the only way to re-position it is to move your computer. If you are using a docking station in a small work area with limited flexibility in positioning the station, you may have difficulty getting this mouse to work (I definitely do). Another problem is that the Connect button is on the receiver, which is plugged into the back of the docking station and very awkward to reach. Although my UBS ports are stacked and all are in use, I did not have a problem with the receiver being too wide (as one reviewer did). But you do have to remember to plug this into the top UBS port, otherwise good luck trying to reach the Connect button.

When the mouse is working, it works great! The size is great, it is the right weight, and it is very responsive. It also has an On/Off switch, which is a real battery saver (I think this may be the only Logitech cordless mouse that has an On/Off switch and it is the main reason I purchased this model). I do wish it had an auto-off feature, but no one seems to offer that. If my clothes iron can have an auto-off feature, why can't my mouse?

So, on the road, when I am not using my docking station, this is a great mouse. But I'm going to have to buy a different model for when I'm in the office, using my docking station.

Summary: Great for laptop and desktop use; Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Review: There isn't anything bad I can say about this mouse.

The reception is great. I have the receiver plugged into the back of my computer and the mouse works from 7.5 feet away. I've never had to use the connect button. I own two of them and they work fine no matter how close.

The weight is good. A mouse can only be so light when it has 2 AA batteries in it.

It's compatible with Windows, MacOS, and Linux. Most of the time you can just plug it in and start working.

Summary: Good wireless mouse for laptops
Review: This is a great working mouse. It does have a solid feel and works just like a corded mouse. I had tried a cheaper Targus mouse but I had to take it back because it simply wouldn't response to mouse clicks. But the one nice thing about the Targus unit was the small receiver unit was hinged and would swing 90 degrees. The Logitech receiver is rigid. The wheel works good and the buttons have a good feel also. Sorry, but I bought this unit at Staples for $30 and it is well worth it.

Summary: good mouse
Review: This is a mouse designed for laptop computers, but yet it's not too small to make you feel uncomfortable. The only problem I have is that the receiver is just a tad too thick. This is a problem for me as my computer only has two USB ports and they are "stacked" instead of being next to each other.

Summary: Great Notebook Mouse
Review: This is a really good wireless. The response time is instant and does not fall asleep. The on off feature is great and the included carrying case is also convenient. I previously had an IBM Wireless Optical Mouse and it was horrible. This mouse is a nice size. The button are a little loud when you click but other than that it is very nice.

Summary: Best wireless optical mouse for laptop/notebook!
Review: This is easy to install and once you customize the settings, it just whips through web pages with the wheel. Nice to have an on and off switch to save battery power and a neoprene carrying case! It is now my travel mouse to and from the office, as I leave my MS optical mouse plugged into my USB hub. Best optical mouse I have used to date, the USB transceiver is small and easy to plug into the USB port.

Summary: Good laptop companion
Review: This is my first wireless mouse and I'm very happy with the product. It's much more convenient to use then a corded option, and its size is a bonus if you regularly pack and unpack your office (even for desktops you notice how much less real estate is taken up without having to worry about the wiring). When I pulled it out of the case it felt too small and light, but once the batteries are loaded it's got a very good size/weight ratio. Ambidextrous shape feels good.

I'll occasionally get some interference with the wireless connection talking to my work laptop, but the computer at home hasn't had the same problems. You should purchase some rechargeable batteries and keep them around as backup - the power indicator drops from good to critical without allot of notice. Keeping the mouse "on" most of the day gives you around three weeks of steady use. As previous reviews noted, the buttons are on the stiff side, but not so much as to be noticeable after a regular day of use.

Also, an excellent scroll mechanism. It's notched but has a very smooth and sensitive response. You can also customize it as a third button for double clicks, etc. Makes it annoying to go back to mice without this option.

Summary: Logitech you've done it again!
Review: This mouse is a great laptop mouse. Before this i got a targus mouse which had a few technical difficulties so i got this mouse. This mouse is small, easy to install, and it is a plud in and play mouse...unlike other mice when you hafta restart the computer. This is the best wireless mouse for the best price

Summary: Great little optical
Review: This mouse is a PERFECT companion to your notebook. Its wireless range is excellent and the optical sensor is flawless. There is an On/Off switch on the mouse that I found particularly convenient so it doesn't bleed the 2 AA batteries while you're not using it. I love the included nylon carrying-pouch that holds the mouse and the small USB receiver.

This is a great deal, folks. If you're looking for an optical mouse for your notebook, this is the one!
