Rating: Summary: Great! Review: The hardest part was taking it out of the packaging! After taking it out just put it into your mainboard and secure it. then boot up the computer. Mine instantly recognized it. My computer is able to handle processes a lot better with all the programs I try to run at once. Great product!
Rating: Summary: Heh Review: The info says that it isn't backwards compatible with PC100, but this is only partially true. I bought it anyway and put it in naively. It "fit" the computer which means either the info is wrong or the 64MB PC100 it had was too low for it. But get this, for some odd reason it worked at half capacity: I put it in with 64 MB guy, and it said 192 MB, so I took out 64 and it said 128. Huh? Anyway, it runs slowly but fairly smoothly considering it is incompatible.
Rating: Summary: totalled my computer Review: This chip was not compatible with my 2 year old Gateway 1.1 mhz PC133 computer. It crashed repeatedly and eventually got to the point where I had to have my data salvaged by the geek squad at Best Buy. Even after I removed the memory, the computer had so many errors that it would not boot. After 150 bucks of data salvage and computer diagnostics, the Geek Squad said the memory chip was the problem. They installed Kingston memory which works great.
Rating: Summary: Worked great for me Review: Three weeks ago I upgraded my >1GB Processor computer/(prior memory Samsung PC133-128MB) to Office XP and it slowed to a crawl. I installed the RAM within moments of receiving it. It changed my world. Now I can have Excel, Adobe and a drawing program open at the same time without the computer asking to expand my virtual memory. I know that others have problems, but for me this worked wonders.
