Rating: Summary: good memory Review: all i did was plug it in and reboot and the memory was recognized. works like a charm
Rating: Summary: Very good value Review: Based on Kinston branded D328SM-75 chips, rated CL3 but runs stable CL2@133 MHz on a ECS K7S5AL.Doesn't get hot, chips on one side only (256 Mbit chips). +5 from me.
Rating: Summary: Thanks for the memory Review: I disconnected my computer, opened it up and plugged in the memory. I reconnected my computer and turned it on and the memory was automatically configured. It works fine - what more can I say? Well I'll tell you - don't worry about the CL2 and CL3 ratings, like I did. I did a little research and CL3 is just fine (like this memory). Unless you are a computer geek and want to make settings in your BIOS for CL2 (which is more expensive, but a little faster) CL3 is the standard for PC 133 SDRAM and comes standerd on most computers that use PC 133 and will work fine.

Rating: Summary: Unhelpful and rude tech support Review: I found that this module wouldn't work in my computer, though industry-standard low density memory worked fine. Kingston technical support confirmed that this was high density memory and would not work in my PC. When I asked them to swap it for standard memory, the response was that I bought the wrong memory, and it wasn't their problem to exchange it to make it work. I'll not buy Kingston products again.

Rating: Summary: Doesn't work in anything I put it in. Review: I have nothing good to say about Kingston memory. I tried installing this module in an E-machines T1220 1.2 GHz Celeron system that is only 3 months old and no go. Wouldn't work in two other systems I tried. The same spec memory from Centon and PNY both worked without any problems. Mine is going back.

Rating: Summary: Excellent buy and compatibility Review: I needed to upgrade from 128 MB to 512 MB. The memory got to my home through UPS (plus a dog bone for my dog) within about 5 days. Installed easily once I figured out where HP had the memory on the motherboard (behind the drive chassis!). Everything is working like a champ. Excellent buy and compatibility for an upgrade.
