Summary: What I was expecting
Review: It is a "normal" smartmedia card. I brought it with my Olympus D490 Zoom camera, because the camera's card is only 8MB. The card is simple, and, buying it (until 31 Dec 2000) you win 12 MP3 songs from SanDisk (various artists. It's a must have for digital cameras. With this card I can shoot more them a 100 pictures in SQ-HIGH quality of my camera, I think it's suficient!

Summary: RESEARCH your digital camera (& other device) BEFORE buying!
Review: Not compatible with my Sanyo VPC-X300. (Also a camera that won't go higher than 8MB).The little research I've done shows that 32MB definately works(suppose to) with these digital cameras; more should be out there: *FUJIX: DX-10.MX-500,600,700,2700.
*LEICA: Digilux.
*OLYMPUS: D-620L,C-1400XL,C-2000Zoom,D-400Zoom,C-900Zoom.
(These can use it WITH an Olympus upgrade: D-340L,D-340R,C-840L,D-500L,C-1000L,D-600L,C-1400L)
*RICOH: RDC-5000.
*SANYO: VPC-Z400.

Summary: Does not work with the Polaroid PDC640 digital camera!
Review: Polaroid didn't mention it in the documentation for the camera, but it doesn't support anything larger than 8MG! This card may be great, but if you need a card for the Polaroid PDC640 this is NOT the one.

Summary: Use with FlashPath for Downloading to PC
Review: SanDish also makes a 3-1/2 floppy template you can insert your SmartMedia into to download your photos to your PC. It works great, and makes photo transfers simple. Be aware that the FlashPath only works with SmartMedia up to 32MB. Higher capacity chips are great for weddings and events where you want a lot of photos. A 32MB is more manageable for occasional photographers.

Summary: Perfect for portable MP3 players like the Rio500
Review: The SanDisk 32MB SmartMedia card was the largest available when I bought it last year to supplement the 64MB onboard the Rio500 MP3 player. It worked flawlessly, easily accomodating about 38 extra minutes of 160-kHz quality MP3 music data - enough to get the last couple of tracks off of 72-minute CD albums. The card is about an inch square and really "wafer-thin." (less than 1mm thick) Bear in mind that since that time, a 64MB card has become available, and it will work flawlessly in the Rio500; larger MB cards are promised and should be compatible as well. If you also use a Compact Flash digital camera, it's worth considering a cardreader/writer such as the Viking Intelliflash (also available from Amazon.) With this you can easily read and write data from both card formats, SmartMedia and CompactFlash.

Summary: A must for travel!
Review: We found this smart media card so valuable on our recent European vacation; we were able to get 100 pictures on it at a fairly high resolution. What a great product!

Review: When I purchased this card, it was the lowest price one available. To me, the price is still worth it. Not having to empty my digital camera of photos every 10 minutes is a luxury. It never "drops" photos or loses capacity. Coupled with the SanDisk SmartMedia USB reader, it's a great package for any digital camera user. My digital camera has gone from gathering dust to being used daily. If I buy a larger capacity one, I will go with SanDisk simply because I know the quality is good, regardless of the price. Why not buy a 64mb one? I'm tempted to do so, now that the prices are so good. But to be honest, I'm the type of person who takes a few pictures here, and a few pictures there, and only looks at my photos after the disk is full. Half the time I end up with A LOT of great photos that I don't know what to do with. If you are like me, you may want to stick with a smaller card, simply because those photos build up. Check out your options, and get whatever suits your budget. But if you are thinking about the SanDisk, go for it.

Summary: This card insn't compatible with the pdc 640 plus camera
Review: You recomend this product for use with the Polaroid PDC 640 Plus Digital Camera and it isn't compatible with this camera. I've bought this card because you recommended it and it isn't true.
