Summary: works well
Review: I bought this when I bought my HP Photosmart R707. This card stores a ton of pictures, and it transfers photos quickly to my computer, and without any problems. So far, so good.

Summary: So far, so good......
Review: I have been using this card for about two months now and am very pleased with the performace in my Panasonic LC80. The transfer time is very good from card to computer, much better than previous cards I have had, and those were at lower resolutions.

I am always worried when using digital media that some type of catastrophic failure with the card will occur and render my pictures gone forever, especially on a long trip. So far, I like the speed of this card, and it has worked as advertised, no problems<knock on wood>.

Regardless, I will probably always have a second card and spread the risk out over two or more cards when shooting important pictures on a trip. I think that regardless of which card is used, putting all of your pictures on a single card is an enormous amount of risk to take. JMO.

Summary: A Card That Does What It Is Supposed To!
Review: I'm always afraid that I'll get a memory card that has problems or one that will malfunction soon after buying it. The fact is, I have bought many memory cards (of varying formats, brands and capacities) and "knock on wood" not one has ever given me any kind of trouble to speak of. This 512 MB Viking brand SD Card has been functioning perfectly ever since I put it in my Pentax Optio 43WR camera. I guess I cannot legitimately give it anything less than 5 stars based on that.

Summary: You can't go wrong with Viking Components!
Review: My SD512M card is more reliable than the 512MB Lexar SD card I used to own. I used to sometimes corrupt the entire Lexar card when I write data to it from my PDA. I would then have to reformat the card and reload everything I had on it. Not so with the Viking. It also is very fast, comparable to the Lexar but much faster than the 256MB SanDisk SD card I also used to own. I have Viking Compact Flash cards and have decided to standardize on Viking due to their high reliability and excellent performance, whether used in my PDA or my digital camera. You can't go wrong with Viking!
