Summary: Great Walkman!!
Review: I haven't owned Sony's WM-FX467 very long, but so far it hasn't disappointed. A few minutes programming the digital memory settings makes it too easy to channel surf on the radio and TV. The reception is excellent, although I haven't tested this outside a large city...that might be different--might not. Also excellent in this Walkman is the headphones set--the kind that wrap around behind your neck vs. over your head...southern girls should enjoy this feature as it will keep the Baptist hairdos intact. Also, for bass-freaks like me, the headphones offer just the right amount--tapes and radio/TV reception offer excellent clarity and depth...I bought some after-market headphones thinking it would need the usual upgrade but I wound up keeping the original ones and returned the others--they're really that good. Unlike another company's "brain-shaker" technology, this one keeps your ear drums from imploding. 2 additional things would make this the bomb...a backlit display of the digital screen and the ability to pick up cable-TV stations. But then again, you'd be walkin with some serious cable plugged into your "portable" unit. Well done, Sony!

Summary: sensitive buttons
Review: Overall, I think the sound was good but I had trouble with the sensitive AM/FM band buttons. They are raised from the unit itself and if you hit them the channel changes and it is hard to find the station you were listening to, especially since I run while listening. I found this very frustrating. I tried to cover the buttons with something but it still jumped stations frequently. I gave up and bought another Sony walkman (cheaper model) and I am much happier with the dial I can turn myself and the sound is just as good.

Review: UPS has just delivered the walkman and I have to admit that the radio reception is crystal-clear. The interface is so simple that a child can figure it out. The only thing wrong with it is that the battery level LED tells you that the battery is dead when you still have power.

Summary: (4.7) Simply A Magnificent Walkman
Review: When my 2nd cousin, Charlie, gave me this as a thankgiving present. I thought nothing of it at first because I already have 2 other walkmans. But when I tried it (with the stylish black leather cover included with the package) it was so so great I haven't used the other 2 since. The sound for the radio(if its on the right frequency which this is more likely deliever because it goes by .1s) and cassette is as clear and crisp as like nothing else I ever heard before. The same goes the same for the cassette with its new anti-rolling feature you'll have continuing smooth sound despite movement. More than that it has this new feature that allows you to hear whats on tv (non-cable channels) which allows me to enjoy Jay Leno's jokes at night in bed. Not to mention there is the ability to preset radio and tv channels so you can quickly switch from one radio station to the next without the hassle of flipping stations. Along with megabass for to make this small easily portable radio to practically have surround sound. And suprisinly all these new futures (and a few other minor ones) are so easy to use, Forrest Gump would have figured them out within 15 minutes. However despite all those great qualities it has two very very minor problems. The battery light is not really that accurate because when the light says no batteries, you actually got about an hour left (total battery life, about 14 hours give or take 4) and since the switching of frequencies goes by .1, if your new to radio its gonna take a while to explorer all the frequinces and find whats good. Other than that this a great product for its price (you'll get it back from not changing the 2 AA batteries so often) that is great gift for anyone to have something to listen at home or while traveling.
