Summary: Expecting something better than my previous.
Review: Bought this model Walkman and returned it to the store after
2 days use. The Cassette would cut out in the middle of playback
with slight movement. Headphones were comfortable but also had
one channel cutting out alot. Overall extremely dissapointed in
Sony. My old WM-FS499 has a broken battery door or else I'd still
be using that Sony " OLD " walkman which lasted over 5 years of
constant biking ,beach ect... use.

Summary: DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT
Review: Have had a Sony Sports Walkman for many years-- going back to the yellow versions. I've noticed the quality has gone down. My walkman before this one lasted two years. Not bad. This one lasted 38 days before the tape player gave out. Guess all the R n D at Sony is going into other products. Go with a lower cost provider-- these are no longer the flagships of the Sports Walkman product line.

Summary: just what I normally expect from Sony
Review: many years ago(14 years to be exact) I purchased a Sony WM-AF62.It was top of the line stuff. I was very impressed with it and it lasted a very long time. It wore itself out and I thought about a new one 'cause I have a lot of cassettes. I bought the Sony WM-FS555/FS556. I don't think I did bad with this choice.Great looks, great sound however the screen is a bit hard to see, even in daylight. I'm sure we will get along fine. The earphones are really different, almost to different. However I Ffind them very comfortable. I am very happy with my choice. Don't take my word for it ,check it out for yourself !!

Review: THe colors are stylin. I love the preset stations with the tv and weather band. It is everything I could ask for. Plus the ear phones. So awesome. You should buy one to.

Summary: Bad Volume!!!
Review: THe volume/sound of any electrical product is one of if not THE most important acspects for listening pleasure. & this walkman will definately be going back to the manufactuerer due to the TRULY bad quality of sound. Even when turned up to full blast (10) the most you will hear from your cassettes & the radio is about 4 & it has NO BASS CONTROL whatsoever. I rely on the sound quality to get thru my workouts at the gym & the walkman i have has to have awsome sound & has to go LOUD, if not, its useless & worthless to me. I could barely hear any of my cassettes or the radio. I was truly disapointed by this.
